I’m so averse to ‘Vox goes to the hotel’ type theories, cause I’m just like… not his squad. Not his vibe at all either, even going beyond the Vees of it all.

This is also another part of why I like my dark, toxic & enmeshment HCs, because they can have their hot and cold moments, they can hurt each other, they can 2-V-1 at times, but ultimately they’re not going to leave each other, no matter how low they could go. That’s what I find most interesting about them. If their relationship is mostly fluffiness… surely, they would break up when that is no longer the case? At least, that’s how my brain processes it.

It’s so weird because I feel like I’m such a shooter for Val, but I also probably think he’s a worse person than the main segment of the Vees’ fanbase… but that’s exactly why I’m such a pusher for him to not get shunned as a character!!! He is so interesting and is bursting for potential intrigue with almost any character dynamic you put him in.

And one thing about him being a bad person is that he is an overlord for a reason (cooking a post about the overlords rn!), but I’m alwayysss wishing more people would respect him in that sense. He is cunning as the others; he can sweet talk for the gods and knows all there is to know about playing mind games (see: looks down on Vox’s cult & is NOT susceptible to brainwashing). This is exactly why Vox and Velvette LOVE Val, even though he puts them through violent Hell.
