It's so strange that humans have been around for about 300,000 years, and yet in all that time, nobody has figured out the definitive way to go about life.

Can everybody just please stop spoiling the backrooms movie? I haven’t watched it yet >:(

Even Vocaloid music has more soul in it than AI generated music.

Most people’s first interaction with the term “AI” is through generative models. They never lived through the sci-fi era of evil AIs taking over the planet, so they don’t instinctively associate AI with thinking or consciousness. To them, AI is just another piece of software. Perhaps it’s because they don’t fully understand their own consciousness to begin with. Or what what thinking means at an existential level. But to me, it feels like an alien being that could bring about the end of everything.

When you're a child you want to be a teenager. When you're a teenager you want to be an adult. When you're an adult you want to be a dog.
