Are there any books that you'd recommend for fans of your art, or that you think inspired you in some way?
YES this is actually something I'm writting about for my patreon but I'll release it on other place eventually.
This one is always a must and I got to learn a lot with James Gurney's book: Color and Light: A Guide for the Realist Painter.
There's also this book called ''The Resurrectionist: The Lost Work of Dr. Spencer Black'' I got it long time ago and its so so useful for drawing mythological creatures, the stories included with them are so interesting.
I'm also really invested on flower symbology, there's this book called ''Folklore and Symbolism of Flowers, Plants and Trees'' by Ernst & Johanna Lehner.
I also love love Wayne Barlowe and I have this book called ''Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials''
I also have this one called ' '1300 Real and Fanciful Animals: From Seventeenth-Century Engravings''
Another thing I find really important for my artistic growth is collect zines, I'm always buying them and they're super inspiring, I totally recommend getting into it, plus you're supporting your favorite artists.
My current favorite is 'For Laika' by Claire Thompson.
also I downloaded some books from William Blake because he's one of my favorite artists and I'd like to get familiar with his poetry.
Last fiction book I read was 'Black Beauty' and I loved it but it was pretty sad, I wish there were more books where a horse is the protagonist.
