In light of recent events, I have begun submitting bug reports when I see mature content labels applied inappropriately to posts, especially if an appeal has been rejected.

for what it's worth: after a few months of submitting help tickets as 'feedback' when i saw a post inappropriately flagged as mature, i tried following this suggestion instead. today i got my first-ever response from tumblr support on this issue, letting me know that a post i'd submitted a ticket before has had its mature content flag removed.

frustrating when you are talking about folklore as the narratives a particular culture tells itself about itself and then someone else is talking about folklore as a dnd monster manual

you stumble into this a lot with dragons especially. it is impossible to talk about dragons as like, a broad term for mythological and folkloric creatures whose attributes and symbolism vary across cultures without someone rolling up to announce that actually what you’re describing is a wyvern, not a dragon.

i love YouTube recommending me storytime art videos or whatever made by Christian missionaries ranting about Christianity like I don't go here and don't shove this shit in my face.

YouTube has been surprisingly aggressive with its recommendations concerning right-wing rhetoric lately. It's like it just came outta nowhere, and somehow it started when Pride did.
