One of my best friends is more of a mother to her siblings than her mom because her mom is to busy making sure her life is hell.

Another of my best friends is in an abusive household and no one in the house gives a fuck about him, even when he attempted suicide, his mom just yelled at him.

Another broke down to me once because her dad sexually assaulted her the night before, and when we went forward to police they believed him over her because “she’s a kid looking for attention”

Another is yelled at constantly for not being who her parents want her to be, is in the closet in 2019 in fear of being kicked out, has her parents religion forced down her throat and is yelled at because “you’re a selfish bitch” when she looks out for herself instead of her family who treats her like shit.

This isn’t okay.
