Love is Real

Always a Catch wasn't high on my summer watchlist. It's not for me, but I will say the anime's finale of the main couple, Mimi and Rentaro's sharing a dance together was absolutely and incredibly beautiful. It's one of the most captivating I've seen in a long time.

The whole time throughout the Bard's Lament, it felt so unfair how Scanlan felt the team were toxic and a bad influence on him completely infuriated me. (Like he's one to talk) They are all broken and traumatized people who found a family with each other, so for Scanlan to say he was worried about falling back into old ways cause of them felt really wrong to me.

Although I'm really glad the blowout wasn't anything like the original campaign, apart of me cannot forgive Scanlan because it just broke Pike's heart. She was already in a bad place but for him to say that, look her right in the eye and ignore her obvious pain. That was really low of Scanlan.
