MASSIVE FIREBALL TEARS ACROSS 4 STATES AS PEOPLE REPORT HEARING IT

A massive fireball came blazing across the Pacific Northwest around 12:49 a.m., lighting up the sky across Washington, Oregon, Idaho and into British Columbia.

But people didn’t just SEE it.

Some reported HEARING it.

Others watched it fragment as it tore across the sky, followed by a brilliant flash that briefly lit up the night.

Dozens of reports poured in from across the region within hours.

And the timing makes this even more interesting it happened right on the heels of the Perseid meteor shower reaching its peak.

Owner pleads for eagle to send his cat home

The unusual situation started after several residents reported the eagle regularly perching near backyards with fish and other prey. With multiple outdoor cats also disappearing in the area, neighbors initially feared the worst. But then people began noticing something strange: cats were gathering underneath the eagle while it ate, apparently waiting for scraps it left behind. Two cats became four, then six, and now residents say a small group regularly follows the eagle from tree to tree whenever it shows up.
