"too lazy to fight" is a violently biased interpretation. workers in the u.s. have to contend with strike breaking tactics that are illegal in many countries: militarized police itching to beat and kill people, immediate loss of healthcare upon loss of job, intentionally cruel and tiring conditions at work to ensure people are too tired to commit to protesting, etc. I personally worked somewhere that fired EVERY EMPLOYEE because we banded together to negotiate for lunch breaks and and sick days. Not even paid sick days- just the ability to go home if we were sick.
