really love my apartment and we’re not moving anytime soon but it’s so………so fucking annoying. we have a giant basically cul de sac behind the building which is where moving trucks pull in and load in & out. we have stanley steemer coming today and i (foolishly, I guess) assumed they could pull back there because a) just a regular sized van and b) not like 2 ppl can even move in/out at the same time anyway AND we don’t even need to reserve the freight elevator c) i emailed about this and management didn’t say they couldn’t park back there. WRONG. that’s what the front desk guy was so shitty about. so i spent like 15 minutes on the phone with management and they made an exception for this one time since no one will be back there until later this evening 🫩 christ almighty.

i called my mom and asked her to come over because i’m overwhelmed 😬.

the worst part of summer is that people get sooo comfortable expressing their disgust at having to see other people’s bodies. they’re always complaining about wrinkly old men at the nude hot springs or fat women in bikinis at the beach. I hate that shit. if you’re not capable of being normal about bodies you personally don’t find attractive, just turn your head to look at something else! and if you’re not smart enough to do that, then at least do the rest of us the courtesy of suffering in silence, because we don’t wanna hear your weird comments. thanks.
