Women stick thin and malnourished on the red carpet, and people are saying you can't point out that these women are dying because that's body shaming. Girl.

Shaming people with such an illness indeed doesn’t help – but what does help is not glamorizing such behavior and not making women feel like they have to starve themselves!

And before someone who guzzles paint says "they're only doing this to meet unrealistic beauty standards set by men!" I have never seen a single man say anything positive about the women who look this way. In fact, it's the exact opposite. There are hundreds of before and after photos of celebrities who did this to themselves and the men all hate it and say they looked much better before.

Modern beauty standards will come and go, but this look they seem to be going for nowadays is not beautiful in the slightest. Who even picked that as a standard??

This is for the people who didn’t party in their teens and twenties. For the people who didn’t have that “coming of age” movie experience with shenanigans and revelations. This is for the people who mostly keep to themselves. Who maybe prefer things to be quieter and gentler. The concept of partying never made any sense to me. I hung out with people who partied, but I never partied with them because I always had to be responsible. Now I sneer at people who have a need to do so every other night.
