Nijiiro Karute ~ Dairantou Valentine hen ~

The story is set on Valentine's Day. Saku and Taiyou are fidgeting in the morning, hoping that they will receive chocolate from Masora, but Masora seems clueless and proceeds to head out for the day. With the two left behind, the situation expectedly turned unfavorable when they started to make fun of each other. Taiyou furiously dashes out of the clinic and becomes a runaway boy!

In the midst of the situation, Saku and Taiyou face a number of incomprehensible disasters...!

I'm happy and excited to announce that this subbing project is in collaboration with my awesome Slasher friend, sakura! It was a blast working on the project together as hokusaku! 🤍(Check out sakura's YouTube channel for lovely DISH// song translations, btw!)

1. Toma

Okay like, besides reminding me of days middle-school me spent shopping in Hot Topic, Toma wears mostly normal clothes. The biggest fault is that yellow thing tied around his waist (when I first saw it, I thought it was like a dramatic sweatshirt, but it doesn’t look like that? It just looks like a jagged piece of cloth?) but that’s hardly enough to sink someone in this lineup

2. Ukyo

Ukyo has a different ref picture because I couldn’t find his matching one with 2 seconds of googling. Anyway, Ukyo does have quite a Look. Also, it took me 3 years to realize he was wearing a funky skirt and not a really long asymmetrical coat, and tbh the skirt and pants is a bit much, but overall there’s not a lot of extra stuff going on and it’s a balanced design. Definitely weirdo clothes, but like, I could see this being real people weirdo clothes.

3. Ikki

Like Ukyo, Ikki has a relatively crisp look about his outfit, but the fastenings on his coat are a bit ostentatious. However, the reason he loses solidly to Ukyo is because of that single godforsaken thigh-high boot.

4. Shin

Okay look, at first I was gonna put Shin as a close forth behind Ikki because of the impracticality of two thigh-high boots knocks down the practicality factor, even if his ridiculous punk-rock look is super coordinated. But I’d forgotten about that, that fucking loose hanging belt. Like what the hell is that? Isn’t that super inconvenient? Are you wearing it as some challenge of spirit? Seeing how long you can go with that thing bouncing against your thigh before you lose it? Anyway, no contest, this is some bottom-tier reasonability shit.

5. Kent

(this post is not meant to be taken seriously!)

- his age is unknown -> LG is actually two years older than CXS but he lied and said he is a year younger, because he thinks CXS wouldn’t be with an old man

- he just stood there suddenly watching CXS -> his beauty bewitched him to stare (basically „he was attracted to his beauty“ so true)

- he just „coincidentally“ showed up at CXS‘s place -> sure my dude. You just HAPPENED to come by and you just so HAPPENED to immediately stay and help renovate and proceed to MOVE IN with that man. It’s a coincidence really

- LG‘s vision of a dead CXS -> dude was losing blood all over. That’s just him hallucinating his worst possible scenario. Time loop? Future LG? Pfff. Nah. He just gay and stressed 24/7

- Knowing where CXS was and seemingly randomly knowing where LTx was gonna take him -> that man losing sleep over CXS everyday because he is the most reckless creature he knows…he just evolved a sixth sense or maybe he just implanted a microchip into CXS brain one day like lbh that dude is basically a human dog

- being able to jump out of a window, crash a speedboat into another boat and jump 3 meters through the air even though he was stabbed like a week ago? -> you know those stories about mothers suddenly being able to push over cars to save their kids? That but gay version

We regretfully bring you sad news…

The launching of <The Ssum : Forbidden Lab> originally scheduled for the month of June has been postponed to the second half of 2022. :’(

We are terribly sorry we must repeat the postponement after a series of delays.

The development of The Ssum is complete, but we recently had unexpected vacancy in our staff, which compelled us to delay the launching once again.

The development was about to be complete when we posted our previous notice on the launching; yet we decided to find new staff in order to make the game ready for service, which will inevitably require more time.

Once again, we are terribly sorry to disappoint those of you who have been keen on the launching of our game. (The responsibility lies in our lack of attention to the influence that COVID-19 has brought upon the game industry, directly related to the demand on the personnel in the technology field that has grown in the recent years.)

Although the game itself is ready for the launch, we determined that repeated notice on the date would cause confusion, which is why we will provide you with the exact date when we finalize our schedule.

For our last notice on postponement, we saw how some of you encouraged us to take our time and do our best. And some of you were confused by how the launching was once again postponed. We took note of each and every one of your comments, to which we could connect deeply.

As much as we tried to make our last notice the final delay notice, we are terribly sorry and frustrated that we must make you wait further.

Rest assured, our team is marking down the calendar day by day until we can see you again in our newest game.

And we will do our best to meet you as fast as we can and reward you with happiness instead of waiting.

In order to help you get rid of boredom until the game is finally launched, we will post on our official social networks a variety of information, including answers to your questions, information on The Ssum, and details on the pre-registration.
