A food court with greasy burgers, hot wings, and extra-large milkshake, a leather goods store (travel bags, jackets, boots, wallets). Those temporary vendors set out in the middle area selling vintage sunglasses that make him feel like a badass. A movie memorabilia shop with old westerns and action movie poster! Gooey mall pretzels! Cookie cakes! A massage chair store (he sits in one for half an hour, pretending he’s considering buying it)…

A retro arcade with pinball, racing games, and Street Fighter! To his horror, he actually reaches for Cas’s hand to drag him inside (only switches to gripping his sleeve at the last possible second)

The physical ache to visit the kitchen area of the department store is even Worse.

But damn it, those cast iron skillets look solid. A good pan means a good sear on a steak. And holy crap, that knife set has actual weight to it. He isn’t about to start watching the Food Network or anything, but having proper kitchen tools means options—like making a burger the right way…
