I don't think it's wrong to identify a petit bourgeoisie in the "artist" profession in the imperial core, whatever you're defining this as, the labor and resources used in an artist-run 'small business' in California or something can be traced to the same supply chains as like, Walmart. Like those websites that let you make your own T shirts with your art on it? You know it's not you actually making the T shirt...? This is not a post trying to guilt trip people, just pointing out a division in labor. If you think i'm lying do explain the panic among 'small business' including arts regarding Trump's tariffs. It impacts access to labor and materials.
