As a woman that also likes women and everything else I can say with full honesty when dealing with the opposite sex, I have found that being nice works 0% of the time. You gotta be strict asl. Men push boundaries to see what they can get away with. So be “evil”, get used to saying no, FULLSTOP. Don’t take shit from nobody. Enforce your boundaries and then double down again. Matter of fact, not only double down, but make him feel like an idiot for asking you more than once.

Especially to those who are a little bit like me, messy and imperfect and lonely.

To those who:

…will never be out to their family

…who know what it’s like to not feel safe

…who have been rejected or cast out

…who rely on found/chosen family

…who are struggling mentally

…who are still figuring it out

…who didn’t think they’d make it this far
