you guys hate schizo-spec people so much and it fuckin shows
literally like. i have mutuals putting this fuckin post on my dash
and its like wow what is so funny about triggering someone who explicitly said they struggle with extreme paranoia and asked for basic consideration? like. how do you talk about your schizo-spec friends when theyâre not in the room? why are we always the laughing stock?
you guys ~support mentally ill people~ until itâs someone whose delusion is just a little too âout thereâ then itâs lets laugh at how dumb this person is hahaha can you believe someone could be so ridiculous hahahaha. like.
and i knoooow im gonna get people commenting about how weâre Just Too Sensitive and thatâs exactly what im fuckin talking about!!! what is so funny to you about someone who genuinely struggles to keep touch with reality? what is so funny to you about a schizo-spec person asking for basic consideration in your interactions with them?
and its so frustrating having to see this shit every single day and knowing exactly how my friends would talk about me when im not around if i was more open about my symptoms. you Very likely have schizo-spec people in your life who will never tell you because we absolutely see how you talk about us and what you think of us
i know this isnt the most coherent post but im so serious when i say please examine why you think of us this way and why you think itâs funny
ok to reblog but if youre not schizo-spec do not comment on this post
i remember once my friends managed to force me into thinking that dogs (the animal) were figments of my imagination, and i had to spend an entire day going through the guidance counselors like sand through fingers to find someone who could comfort me out of the delusion.
i remember once i asked a blogger i followed not to post unreality anymore because theyd been spamming it like crazy and it was not even tagged. they told me to get off their blog if i couldnt handle their content, so i did, but im constantly missing the content i actually followed them for.
i remember i had to coach my friends out of a certain brand of humor because jokes about reality and hyperbole about certain behaviors are a very slippery slope for me. sometimes they still fuck up.
mental health stigma is everywhere, but for schizo people, we have to struggle through how the reality of our mental illness has been so lost in movies and tv shows that no one knows how to respectfully interact with us. no one knows, or cares to know, what to avoid when interacting with us. itâs like they dont even realize how different the world is when the world isnât a stable constant in your mind.
remember when yâall started that stupid, unfunny âBiden buries dogsâ joke and quadrupled down when schizo-spec people begged you to stop?

White liberals: Please stop this shit
Sometimes, y'all are just as bad as Republicans. I posted a screenshot on Facebook of this white woman using the N word. A white guy commented saying that it wasn't racist in the context she was using it in. Then proceeded to call me a white savior who spoke over POC. I pointed out that I actually am a POC, then called me a liar because I was "just as white" as him.
I'm biracial ( half black). It's true I'm very pasty, but certain not white pasing. Anyone who looks at my physical features can tell I'm half black. Not to mention, my daddy is a black man.
Point is, don't be like him. The black community does not like white saviors. The biracial community does not appreciate people telling us we're not black enough.
P.S: Don't call POC "A disgrace to their race" when you don't agree with their opinions. I saw a white person say that Candace Owens was a disgrace to the black community. I fucking hate Candace Owens too, but seeing a white person say that was just a little...ew. I appreciate you standing up for racism but you end up looking racist yourself.
The best thing you all can do for any minority is to have our backs. Spread awareness, but don't speak over us. If you want to criticize a minority, leave their race out of it. Don't tell us what and what we should be offended by.

Pretty sure that generation has been dead for awhile but ok, pretend one thing has something to do with another
The end of Jim Crow laws was in the 1950âČs. The first black student to attend a formerly all white school was Ruby Bridges in 1960.Â
Here she is being walked to school under the protection of Federal Marshals because angry white people were ready to harm or kill her.Â
Here she is in 2010, eight years ago.Â
The generation that enforced segregation is not dead, fucko. They were our fuckin grandparents, and it was not that goddamn long ago.Â
Google is free.Â
Grandparents?!
Iâm 31.
My MOM was born the year before school segregation ended.
She was NINE when MLK was shot.
She remembers race riots in her school over school segregation ending in our home state.
My MOTHER lived through this. Sheâs 61 years oldâwhich means while her own health is shot, people from her generation will be around for another twenty to thirty years.
1956. This is not colorized. IT WAS SHOT IN COLOR. Look at thatâsegregation was still ongoing in the age of neon lights.
Same exhibit. 1956. Banana splits, poodle skirts, and the ability to get âcoloredâ drinking water only from the white folksâ backwash. You can see the pipe connecting the white tank to the colored fountain behind the little girl in the light pink dress.
Less than ten years later. Thatâs Martin Luther King, Jr. in the middle. Have you ever seen him in a color photograph before? There are many, but for some reason ⊠maybe because black-and-white makes things look old ⊠nobody ever uses them.
Look at the bank logo in the back. Colored squares like that were a thing in the mid-to-late 1960s. The slicked-down hair on the Black girl in front says weâre not yet to the mid-1970s, and since these signs all say âHonor Kingâ itâs quite likely this is 1969-1970. You know what else was happening in 1969? Not Woodstock, not the moon landing, although both of those things happened. No, something we think of as being much more recent.
THE INTERNET STARTED.
1969 was the launch of ARPANET, which would later become the Internet. BLACK PEOPLE WERE STILL MARCHING FOR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS WHEN THE INTERNET WAS STARTED.
This picture was taken sometime between 1956 and 1958. I donât have a precise date on it, but the sleeveless sundress says later 1950s, the hair on Orange Plai says this was after Elvis, and the stars on the flag say thatâs not a modern 50-star flag, which was first used in 1959. (We had a single year, 1958, with 49 stars.)
Ah yes. It was so long ago. Letâs get some more perspective:
Donald Trump was eight years old when school segregation was declared illegal in 1954. He was nineteen when the police beat and shot at peaceful Black protest marchers in Selma, Alabama and twenty-two when MLK was assassinated by the FBI for trying to encourage desegregation.
Hillary Clinton was seven when school segregation was declared, eleven when it went into effect, and eighteen when Selma happened.
Bernie Sanders was thirteen when the integration ruling occurred, 19 when Ruby Bridges started going to a formerly all-white school, and twenty-four when Selma happened. Joe Biden is only a year younger than Bernie.
Elizabeth Warren was eleven when Ruby started her new school, fifteen when Selma happened, eighteen when MLK was shot.
You will notice that all of these people are running for President, or were rumored to be running for President, this year. Theyâre not just alive, theyâre thriving. And they were all alive for desegregationâin fact Trump, Clinton, and Sanders were all old enough to either endorse or oppose what happened at Selma.
But letâs keep looking, because theyâre probably outliers, right?
Hm. Three of MLKâs children are still alive. Theyâre between 56 and 62 years old. (His elder daughter died of unknown causes; her family suspects an undiagnosed heart condition.) In fact one of his siblings is still alive, and she was born before him! Sheâs 96.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg? Yeah, she was 21 when school integration was made the law of the land. And sheâs still serving on the Supreme Court.
But tell me again how long ago it was.
Iâm sure the people from those generations are all dead, after all.
my father was graduated from high school when the civil rights act was passed and was in his last semester of college when MLK was killed. i was born in the 2000s
people who remember segregation are very well alive
My momâs school district in Colorado was only actually FUNCTIONALLY desegregated when she was in high school, in the fucking 1970s.
My mom. Iâm only in my 30s. She was born in 1957.
Google is free. Also this is a perfect example of how the American education system is failing
My parents were born in 1943. My grandparents were born in the 1890s. I am only 3 generations removed from slavery and one from segregation.
To my BLM allies,
First off, I'd like to say thank you for sticking up for and fighting on our side. You guys are awesome. However, there's something I want to point out. When dealing with people of color who have different opinions than BLM ( ex- Candace Owens), it's NOT your place to tell them how to feel. Leave that to the black community to argue with them.
YOU THINK IâM JOKING BUT IâM DEAD SERIOUS
one day this comic will reach a million notes and then iâm going to quit my job and become a couch
Huh? Whatâs this? I donât remember ordering something that big.
Oh, itâs a sofa? I already have one, thoughâŠ
Hang on, my job sent me this? Is this some sort of bonus or something?
Huh??? Itâs empty?? Then why was it so heavyâŠ
Oh hang on whatâs this?
Iâm not sure I can reach itâŠ
Oh crap!!!!
Everyone who isnât reblogging this version is a coward and a villain

Your abuserâs trauma does not justifiy them abusing you. Your abuserâs disability does not justify them abusing you. Your abuserâs gender does not justify them abusing you. Your abuserâs illness does not justify them abusing you.
For everyone that needs to hear this: there is nothing you could ever do thatâs punishable by abuse, and there is NOTHINGÂ anyone could ever say to justify the abuse you experience(d).
Reblogging this again because its important to me
Wow. This really hits home! Everyone needs to know this!!
Your abuserâs race doesnât justify them abusing you.
Your abuserâs sexuality doesnât justify them abusing you.
Your abuserâs relationship to you doesnât justify them abusing you.
Nothing justifies domestic abuse!
Your abuserâs parental status doesnât justify them abusing you.
That first one. âIf they hadnât been abused first they wouldnât have been like that to meâ no! That doesnât excuse it.
Finding the reason behind abuse does not and should not equal excusing abuse
âŠand, at the time of his death, he was one of the most hated people in the USA.
The FBI sent him a letter trying to convince him to commit suicide. Donât let this revisionist bullshit slide. The things they say now about protests, kneeling, etc, are the same things they said about the sit-ins and marches.
respectability politics is a trap.
respectability politics is a trap.
respectability politics is a trap.
Look at this vintage political cartoon. Reactions to MLK and BLM are near identical.
His own kids are telling yall not to fall for the bullshit
