Im thinking abt franklin and michael again. im thinking abt how most of the story is led by michael’s choices and actions (and trevor’s as well to a lesser extent) while franklin is mostly a follower in it. im thinkingb abt how much he complains abt the bickering between Trevor and michael and their crazy ideas but saves their lives several times. im thinkig about franklin’s special ability being that he’s an incredibly good driver, while michael’s is being an exceptional shot. im thinking about how they met with Michael’s gun to the back of franklins head, ordering him to drive back to simeons. and really it never changed from that meeting, other than learning to like the gun on the back of his head

yall not talkin enough abt how in ending A, trevor only drives away trying to lose franklin in a chase and yells abt being betrayed and never tries to fight or hurt franklin, while in ending B, michael opens fire on franklin before franklins gun is out, and is spouting every line in the book at him, i treated you like family i let you in my home i taught you everything you know i trusted you we should go kill trevor right now etc . im just saying .

like so much of franklin’s story is about loneliness and not belonging… something about how while michael gets a sort of 2nd chance with his family that was drifting away from him in late game and even trevor gets back the person he wanted (michael) and has other friends , franklin has like. barely anyone . we meet a ton of characters from the hood that franklin grew up with who ask favours from him and whom he banters with but in late game none of them are ever around at all. he’s basically just Not one of them anymore. only one still in regular contact w him is lamar and that is It. his aunt he lived with goes no contact w him, old friends betray him or just don’t care spreading rumours abt disloyalty , his ex he’s not over goes off to marry a diff man, etc like there’s kind of a focus in franklin on community and being used by others and Still not really belonging ever. he’s so on edge all the time and 95% of all the interactions he has with others are him complaining abt everyone being crazy and being like Uh ok at people and refusing to share any information on himself when asked etc yet also sometimes he does things like Looking michael in the face and saying “i never had a dad. older men scare me”. michael views and treats franklin in an almost stereotypical narrative objectification to a specific role and thinks nothing of it , franklin is Wholly aware of that but too lonely and unassertive to break the role … he is 1000% autistic and undiagnosed idc what anyone say
