There is something sooo deeply American going on with Seattle Children’s Hospital that I think would brick the minds of everyone outside of the United States.

The CHILDRENS hospital has to restrict helipad landings because of noise complaints from the wealthy home owners living next to it. Only the most urgent patients can land directly at the hospital. While the other kids have to land a mile away and are taken to the hospital via ambulance. Which is an unnecessary risk to the child’s life and also makes the families pay for the helicopter AND ambulance.

The article says there are "3 or fewer helicopter transports per week". God forbid you have to hear a loud noise a couple times a week just so a child can get lifesaving medical care.

I think those people should have their homes turned into free temporary housing for out-of-town families with kids in the hospital, actually.

Honestly the evolution of mobile game ads is so baffling to me. Like it must be working or this wouldn't have happened but at this point I downright do not trust that any of the ads have anything to do with the game (if I'm not immediately rendered hostile by Shockbaiting) so even on the very rare occasions one looks even slightly interesting im never going to download it because I'm like well the game isn't like that.
