Hoping this steamy drawing of my non-HOF Warden (now Warden-Constable!) Johanna is censored enough for Tumblr.
Full image is posted here since that worked well last time with the Zev/Cousland art.

Trying to reaccustom myself to using an s-pen with my new phone after a year of using a phone with no pen pressure sensitivity, so I drew a little warmup Isabela.
May's postcard is a sendoff to the Dragon Age TTRPG campaign I've been in for two years.
Seeing as the GM is one of my monthly postcard recipients, it only felt right.
Lesbian sailors circa 1848.

A celebratory illustration for Poor Thom's Tavern, which my dad opened 10 years ago this month. It's become a beloved little bar & dinner spot in my hometown, and host to some fiercely competitive bar trivia teams.
I'm very proud of him.
New Dragon Age OC-- August, a tranquil mage from the Kirkwall Gallows. They were made tranquil after a years-long feud with another mage boiled over into attempted murder.
I'm playing them in a tabletop campaign (that's starting after Johanna's campaign ends) where they've been recruited by Leliana as an agent of the Inquisition.
"Ghost Light", for the "Staging A Comeback" exhibition at the Attleboro Arts Museum in Attleboro, MA
5"x7" intaglio print on BFK
I haven't done intaglio in about 5 or 6 years, and it was daunting to get back into it from my less-than-adequate studio setup in the corner of my living room/kitchen space, but the end result was well worth it.
The show is up until May 1st in the Ottmar Gallery of the Attleboro Arts Museum! If you're in the area, stop by (admission is free).
Inquisitor Ivy Lavellan
She's undergoing a bit of a redesign and reworking. I love playing dress-up with OCs.
I think her hair is still usually loose, but I wanted to try a couple different looks with her hair more up/covered.

April's postcard of the month is inspired by memories of doing summer Shakespeare camp as a tween in White River Junction, Vermont, a charming, hip little town.
Going to get iced coffee on breaks from rehearsal while I was still dressed as Tybalt with a silly fake mustache is a core memory. I remember feeling Very Grown Up.

You mentioned reading about a sodomy court martial, can you link your resource please?👁️👁️
Yes! It's Vicious and Immoral by John Gilbert McCurdy.
Here's the link on Bookshop.org, although it may also be available through your local library. I know the Boston Public Library has it.
Homosexuality, the American Revolution, and the Trials of Robert Newburgh
It's actually a bit more complicated than a court martial for sodomy, because the army's evidence for the act itself was based on hearsay and the whole thing ends up stretching out into a series of trials about sex, insubordination, defamation, and fancy clothes.
The author also spends a lot of time putting the trials in context, and gets into the nuances of how being on the brink of war may have been influencing different officers, the different levels of tolerance for homosexual behavior in the cities involved, and how these trials compare to others going on at the time.
An entanglement, circa 1770.
