you don’t realize how important lunch is until you’re wandering around thinking about how unloveable and untalented and uniquely cursed you are and then it’s 4pm and you finally eat lunch and you go Oh. oh right.

lot of people commenting on this post like "who eats lunch at 4pm that's a terrible time to eat lunch" yes. that is the point. 4pm lunch is inadvisable. 4pm lunch is not the ideal. 4pm lunch makes the mind demons real.

out here at the vet ER with my friend and his cat, just threw up in a hospital bathroom but im here and im trying my best. even $1 will help i have to eat something besides yogurt today

i think that shadowbringers is an objectively beautiful, impactful, well crafted piece of art that earned its praises. but i do admittedly grimace when people call it the best expansion. mostly because it attracted, at a coincidentally insanely good time to do so, a massive burst of players who laud it night and day as the Best Story ffxiv has to offer, the part where the game gets good. and i just…i guess it doesn’t matter if i agree. it’s simply dishonest. it really is. even where it falters in execution xiv is a game that has a lot of heart in it, with a story that does largely cohere and pays itself off much, much sooner than shadowbringers. i hate seeing people who claim to love this game barely engage with out outside of a single expac’s worth of story, often feeding into the community’s frankly criminal reputation of being one of those “it gets good 300 hours in” games. that’s not true! it’s not! im sorry but if you make it to heavensward and you are not invested in the game’s world and story then it’s simply not for you! shut up and go play another game. im serious

and another thing but like this is also why all feminists need to be pro fat liberation cuz shit like this puts pregnant fat people's lives at risk, even when they do access abortions they are often referred out to a hospital with a longer wait and a steeper bill, and often denied pain management. these stories coming out from fat women lately tryna access care alongside PP now selling the beauty standard to women feels interconnected and predatory.

like "this misogynist watches porn that dehumanizes (cis) women" isn't seen as ironic at all, but "this transmisogynist watches porn that dehumanizes trans women" is and is often treated as like a funny gotcha. why is that.
