One of my fave Stiles haterism scenes with a Sciles agenda is how it never occurs to Stiles that Derek, a remarkably handsome man by most measures, could ever distract the bored deputy lady. Derek is so aggressively the opposite of Stiles' vision of male perfection that it truly--like, canonically--does not occur to him that anyone would find him appealing. Derek can't string five words together and literally what else would he have to offer? His eyes aren't a brown so deep they're almost black his hair's not fluffy and prone to curling his lips are cold and severe instead of the perfect strawberry pout he's too tall he's too hairy he never smiles and if he did it wouldn't light up Stiles’ world like his own personal sun. What were we talking about again? Oh yeah Derek's yucky he's disgusting his jaw's not even crooked for fuck's sake why would any woman ever give him the time of day.
