Welcome back to the MOTHER Fan Game Museum.

And on this occasion, I’d like to introduce you to a fan game that nobody has ever heard of or talked about: MOTHER 2K3

This strange game was released on 4 July 2009 on YouTube; it was created using RPG Maker 2003 as a technical demo.

It features a boy, Tyler, and his friend, Daniel, who set off on an adventure through the mountains and, yes, for some strange reason, Hinawa makes an appearance.

There’s nothing more to say; it simply introduces a new mechanic, which involves moving rubbish bins and recreating the battle from Mother 3. There’s even a website, which, incidentally, is inactive because it’s out of date.

The downside is that this fan game has never seen the light of day, as it has already been cancelled; its last update was on 14 July 2020.

Someone told me that the project is still ongoing, according to the comments on YouTube.

I just wanted to let you know that Beyond Bounds is still alive and kicking, and that the Mother Direct is coming up this summer.

We don’t know if it’ll be released or not; let’s just hope it doesn’t turn out like Winter 2014

Tambien he estado pensando en borrar mi cuenta, ya que no fue una buena idea crear una cuenta dedicada exclusivamente a un solo idioma. Hey, today is MAR10!

Welcome back to the MOTHER Fan Game Museum. This time it will be something special. This game did not have a forum or social media presence, but it is available as a video on YouTube.

MOTHER Savior, a fan game created 18 years ago (the oldest one), which runs on the RPG Maker engine.

The protagonist was called Psy, and it seems that he is accompanied by the original gang and the saga, and a Mudkip (yes, that Mudkip from Pokémon).

It also has some interesting features, for example, it has a Mother 3-style combat system, which is possible with RPG Maker.

And finally, it has some soundtracks for the game.

(This is my favourite, in my opinion)

His last post was on 22 February 2010, and 10 years later, the creator decided to cancel the game. We didn't know why he died, maybe for personal reasons, and yes, that's where the story ends.

I tried to replicate your sprites, because all the videos came out blurry, because back then there were no high-quality videos. Well, I tried.

Starting the new year with more information at Mother fan games museum!

This is one of the other fan sequels to Mother 3, but this one expands on the story after the events of that game.

"It’s the end of the world, The needles were pulled with a good heart, so the world became new. The Dragon just began rebuilding it, when it suddenly noticed something that changed its plans… It stops unfinished work, takes the Hummingbird Egg before it can give all memories out, and goes into hiding in an unknown place…"

The original cast is back for a new adventure, and you can also play with the new characters.

It also has its own forum at starmen.net.net, which also offered songs on YouTube, which, incidentally, I marked as private.

And now they ask me, Is the game still active?

Well, the last publication was almost in December 2010, and NO, there are still updates, or it wasn't even mentioned years ago. I think that, like the rest, they threw in the towel and haven't talked about it since.

I know the meme is funny, but stop it already! It's not about attacking the developers or anyone else or seek controversy, I'm just saying that they're desperate for the same thing, they're just attacking the community, that game, and other Mother fan games. I've told you many times before: IT'S NOT EASY TO MAKE FAN GAMES ON THE FLY, IT TAKES MORE TIME AND PATIENCE.

In addition, there are fan games that suffer the same fate, such as the other Mother 4, Russia, Beyond Bounds, The Return of Darkness, Rain of Stars, Sigma, Eden, Nexus, among others.
