If St. Julian didn’t have revelations until her 30’s, there’s still time for all of us!
I don't understand how people read about how Jesus spent time with and helped out prostitutes and think to themselves "Jesus supported prostitution" instead of "Jesus knew that most if not all women in prostitution were forced into it and that they were routinely abused by their clients. He knew that many of them were desperate to escape that life but felt too impure to do so. He helped those women, told them there sins were forgiven and to sin no more, and those women were able to leave their lives of prostitution behind thanks to his help and mercy."
Similar reminder that the other people Jesus regularly hung out with were TAX COLLECTORS which means if your takeaway is "Jesus hanging out with sinners means he supported their lifestyle", that would also mean he was fully a supporter of tax collecting, which definitely doesn't fit in with the concept of Jesus as a perfectly politically-correct socialist moral teacher. But Jesus makes it clear, the reason he hangs out with these people is that they're sinners AND they know they're sinners, which means they're far more open to listening and receiving grace. "The healthy don't need a doctor, but the sick do. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

“In my deepest wound I saw Your glory, and it dazzled me.”
— Saint Augustine
Jean-François Millet - "The Angelus"
Saint Joseph, who provided for the earthly needs of the Holy Family, pray for those currently seeking employment, and for the health and wellbeing of those who have employment.
You should not feel ashamed to be a Christian. You should not feel the need to be shy about your faith. You shouldn't have to say that you "believe but aren't THAT religious". You shouldn't have to feel ostracized for reading the Bible or carrying one around with you. You shouldn't feel bad for asking for Sundays off to go to Worship services. You should not feel embarrassed to praise the name of the Lord in public.
People will try to shame you for being open about your faith and how important it is to you. They'll say you make it your whole personality. But, if your actions of love towards God are just as strong as your actions of love towards your neighbor, then it will not matter what they say. Help others in whatever ways you can, and do it out of love for them, even if they belittle your reasoning.
In the same vein, you shouldn't have to flaunt your faith through clothes or accessories. You don't have to have that cross pendant, that "Jesus saves" t-shirt, you don't have to "prove" your faith with physical artifacts. In fact, you don't have to carry a Bible. You don't have to be loud about your faith, but most importantly you don't have to spend money to prove it to other people.
People will try to flex how "Christian" they are while spewing hate from their mouths. Their "Jesus saves" shirt means nothing if they condemn or hate their neighbors. You don't need to visually prove your faith, because your actions will speak for themselves, if you act in love for God and for neighbor.
In short, you do not have to prove your faith, you do not have to justify it, you do not have to flaunt your faith, and you do not have to be silent about it.
Praise the Lord for His goodness, praise Him that we may act on his two highest commandments of loving Him with all our heart, soul, and mind, and loving our neighbors as ourselves.
One has to die to oneself in order to life in Christ. Each one must personally and freely associate himself with Christ, the Lord, the Saviour, and the Redeemer, in the confession of faith, in the choice of love, in the mystical oath of allegiance. Each one has to renounce himself, to 'lose his soul' for Christ's sake, to take up his cross, and to follow after Him. The Christian struggle is the "following" after Christ, following the path of His Passion and Cross, even unto death, but first of all, following in love.
Creation and Redemption by Georges Florovsky
