Give It To God

I ask kindly that prayers be offered for my grandmother who has entered hospice care for vascular dementia. We have been told that she may not have more than a couple weeks left at this point, and she has been transitioned to palliative care while end of life preparations are made.

I am humbly requesting your prayers for me and my wife. We recently returned from a three-week vacation in which we visited not only friends and family, plus beautiful historic sights, but also found great quiet and peace, detoxed a lot from screens and social media, played music for a dear friend's wedding, experienced many moments of childlike joy and carefreeness, and spent great time with a friend and spiritual mentor whom we consider our "adoptive dad". It was good and beautiful -- at times it even felt delirious -- but now that we're back to our town of residence, and prepare to enter our everyday routine again, everything which took place in those three weeks feels completely unreal -- as if none of it ever happened. Like it was a movie which we watched in the cinema, or the memories of someone else which were relayed to us but are definitely not ours. Maybe it's some form of derealisation/dissociation, but I don't know about the psychological components...
