Please pray for my catechumen who is receiving first Communion and Confirmation July 11th. God have mercy on my soul for all the ways I've failed them. Please also pray for my bishop-elect, who is being ordained on the same day.

urgent prayer request for a private intention please

I know a lot of times we can complain about priests or the Mass if it's not the way we want it to be, but I think it's really important that we all acknowledge how privileged and lucky we are to be able to go to Mass at all. There are people being killed right now for being Catholic. Many of us get to go to Mass (daily Mass in many cases!) in relative peace without much concern of our safety. It's okay to prefer one form of Mass to the other, or to have qualms with the way a priest does something during the Mass, but I think we all need to take a step back sometimes and see how lucky we really are.

Pray for my parish, we went from four to two priests in a little less than a year, and we still have the same amount of people. This is a parish that swells seasonally, so right now is a good time to transition, but we'll have hundreds of people come November. Please pray the fathers are able to handle the workload with grace and ease.

Please pray for my cousin who is apparently an athiest now because of the bad Christian role models in his life and that he'll meet some good Christian role models and return to the faith 🤍
