If you're interested in worldbuilding, I'll get there, eventually.
This is about how to learn to be an adult, told through the lens of learning to be an artist.
If you are looking for ideas for what sort of things you can do to practice or see a variety of things, you're in the right place.
There's a lot of information and art here of all manner of styles and skill level. You'll need to check the tags if you're after a particular type of post.
Looking for feedback? Asks are also open if you're after constructive feedback, please check this post for details. (Subject to availability)
What this blog isn't
You will NOT find a curated list of my best work, nor an accurate representation of my final ability. I do not stick to drawing one type of image. I draw inspiration from everywhere. If you've seen me draw for a fandom before, I'm likely to do it again, but it could be months later.
What this blog is An honest representation of who I am at any given time.
It's a collection of my art and thoughts on process. Some things may be inaccurate, dated and be subject to replacement on a regular basis.
Text dense posts are often focused on getting the raw information and thoughts out first, they have a lot of placeholder art. You might see me talk about the same topic multiple times as I look for a more digestible format.
Old art and thoughts regularly no longer reflect where I'm at, I'm always aiming to correct myself and update things as I learn more. Please check timestamps.
I'm showing a lot of the type of art you'd want to shove into a desk and hide, art can be learned by everyone through perseverance, a strategy and a bit of focus and I'm leaving a record of that process having started from very little experience.
While I do my best to be as accurate as possible, the nature of art growth means I might be sharing inaccuracies or presenting the information in a way that is awkward to follow. Please keep this in mind as you visit.
