In exchange for splitting up the New NEXTGEN AU introductions, I'll be posting the first group of characters a week earlier than I suspected I would! The askbox is now open so send in your questions (anonymous is now on again, please behave or I will turn it off permanently)!

What is NEXTGEN?

NEXTGEN- or The Next Generation AU, is an AU that takes place is the near distant future of the Kirby universe and follows the new lives of the character's the series is familiar with. This AU is very headcanon-heavy, and mixes both the games and anime into one single plot. This AU is also quite ask-heavy as well, meaning people sending asks gives more story and answers to the AU, so ask away!

I've been around a considerable amount of time on the internet, as a member of many communities for over a decade and as a (now ex) content moderator on one of the many popular [and very much risky] virtual playgrounds plaguing the app store.

To keep it short, i've since quit that role after discovering many troubling truths which compelled me to leave without hesitation.

On this tumblr page, I share my niche interests, personal artist journey & subsequent tales while offering commentary, tips, and insights as an elder artist.

I have witnessed the internet transform people in so many ways, and I also aim to caution & educate others about certain topics, discourse and bad actors who lurk in many internet communities.

I want to change the perception of what it means to be not just a creative but also a responsible person & content creator who uses the power and guidance they are given appropriately, as i once used to be a youngster who once crossed paths with these many monsters.

We need to cultivate awareness and find our voices on matters like this, i will do just that as well.

Random Facts about me! :D

I have AxSpa, which is basically stage one Ankylosing Spondylitis. It starts out as arthritis and then stage 2 is ankylosing, which is Greek for the process of stiffness or rigidity. I walk with a cane every now and then when i flare up. Funny enough, I was misdiagnosed with schuermann's disease at first after finding out i needed back surgery at 15.

I also have PMDD and Endometriosis, what a double whammy :/

I'm afab (identifying as agender/gnc, any pronouns ^^)

I'm a byproduct of two neurodiverse parents, therefore i have AuDHD. c:

I'm also a musician! I play bass, acoustic guitar, drum machine and much more. I'm currently getting ready to record my own music soon, finances permitting. :3

I love music, thus a self proclaimed audiophile. (No i'm not attracted to audio speakers btw, lol.)

I have more than just one favorite food, surprisingly i'm not a picky eater :,D

Speaking of food, I actually have a top 3 sweet treats! It's flan, gummy candy and ice cream. ^^

I've been in some crazy situations in my life, i lived with a not only a neurodiverse mom, she possesses narcissistic tendencies that were passed along her bloodline (nature vs nurture amirite? lol), and i was even hit by a drunk driver a couple years back and survived. C-PTSD is booty cheeks fr. 🥀🥀)

I'm semi-verbal, communication isn't my strongest asset. It's ironic that writing words come more naturally to me than interacting with anyone in the real world or social media. 🪦

I speak a few languages. Despite pulling a learning Korean speedrun for my old gig (안녕하세요, 저는 이입니다. ㅋㅋ) I actually have 2 language certifications, one in conversational Spanish and the other Japanese. Currently saving up for a TEFL certif! :D

I adore tabletop/board games. Cards Against Humanity, Clue, Yahtzee and MTG have to be in my top four.

My biggest art peeve is minimalism, I absolutely despise that concept. Maximalism ftw ✌️✨

I have fur children, a dog and 3 cats. They stink but i love them so much. 🥰

To add to my passion for art, I immense myself in writing, reading, audio engineering, photography, and video games. I also cherish long walks on any trail I can discover, as my love for nature is in my veins.

Speaking of reading, I unironically like 기자매, aka The Ki Sisters webtoon 😭 /srs

I'm into a lot of shit that i can't list all at once. To keep it short i like everything, even the spider that lives on the corner of my wall :3

I'm a huge introvert. If you look at the content of this blog, it's self explanatory.

I tried taking the MBTI test multiple times and kept on getting different results, you can just call me another Wonyoung ig :,) /hj. [I'm also a kpop fan]

I find myself quite dry, yet this trait enriches my daily convos and adds a touch of whimsy. That's how the reader of this intro finds out I'm a MoistCr1TiKaL fan as well. :)

Admittingly, i'm an asshole. What people don't take to account is that i'm actually a big one :) /hj

I am distantly related to two better known families in pop culture history. One of them denounced their famous grandpa's claim to fame as an anti smoking activist in 1986 (maternally) and the other 3 were the subject of a south park episode (season 13 episode 1, iykyk, also paternal). Small world, ain't it? Finding out your roots is an excellent foundation for any project. I discovered a wealth of family scrolls by interviewing various family members, visiting my local courthouse and archives, which surpasses any information available from services like Ancestry or 23andMe. Papertrail method is the way to go, you don't need the assistance of a computer to go on a quest like that. ^^
