Writeblr Intro 2024
- Hi, Iâm a twenty-something anon writer whoâs been trying to make use of my degree in Liberal Studies (English & History).
- Been writing fiction since the 2nd grade because thatâs the first audience I shared with and it took me over a decade to ever share again.
- Creative Writing class in college set me apart from my peers, partly because Iâm older and partly because my tastes in writers is not the traditional scope and Iâve always had a knack for working against the cliche predictability that has so often made me want to rip my hair out. I like keeping my readers enticed but a little on their toes.
- Donât expect my work to be consistent. I have issues with liking what Iâm writing, which is why I resort to prompts and moodboards when my brain itches and I canât just get the idea out of my head the way I want to.
- Open to sharing what works for me as a neurodivergent writer with enough years of writing that college essays became almost nothing to me after a certain point. Iâm also always looking for friends and new ideas and inspiration. And I do wanna give back and pay it forward as someone who canât spit out a master novel like they convince us âgood writersâ do.
- My realm of fiction is almost always reality based supernatural or paranormal because thatâs my comfort area as a big werewolf lover. So, I write horror without considering it that way. Aka the horror but not horror tag that comes up.
- New to tumblr. Looking to branch out and grow my audience and get appropriate feedback without allowing it to influence whatâs to come from my work. Iâm so used to writing for other people itâs a little hard getting back into writing just for me.
- Also new to AO3, but the blog name is the same. This is how you can find me on most social media, should the curiosity arise. Anonymous as I have been for a long time.
