Another thing Roman is a social expert and has charisma, Ruby is a weaponโs weirdo being very awkward.
Roman Torchwick walked to the front of a White Fang rally, openly admitted to being racist against Faunus, and STILL managed to get them on his side.
Ruby requires 8 volumes of traumatic backstory to hope the people of Remnant choose to work together.
Also Ruby had to die as well, since she returned after everyone sees her as a god figure. At this point are they just trying to one up each other on how much they have to go through. Like Roman: Got the WF working under him but died. Ruby: Died, but came back to life to be seen as a paragon lol
Roman was the best and most charismatic leader, and no one can deny it.
Ozpin used lies, and it backfired spectacularly.
Cinder used fear, and they abandoned her.
Ruby needed eight volumes of garbage, and even then, RT made her some kind of divine figure through sheer plot armor, and she didn't even give a decent speech.
Roman... the guy fearlessly entered a place full of people who wanted him dead, just for being human. He won them over, and they remained loyal despite his openly racist behavior.
Neo, that girl searched high and low for those who took Roman from her. She literally killed the protagonist with cunning and psychological manipulation.
I wouldn't be surprised if, had Roman lived, he would have turned all of Atlas and Mantle against Ironwood and the protagonists with just words.
