Xiang Fei gets a deal with a game publisher to release an otome mobile game where you can get to date Binghe plus a lot of the side male characters (Yue Qingyuan, Liu Qingge, Gongyi Xiao, etc) in an attempt to reach a female audience (to get more money).

The game does decently enough to have events where you can unlock more characters, until the Shen Qingqiu event happens, and suddenly fans are rabid for this scrawny pathetic man who acts more like a tsundere then his scum villain book counterpart.
