i think my designs for fem quanyin, ideally, would be that yizhen is like kinda "masc" but only because she's practical, not out of any specific style choice(for sensory reasons i dont think she'd like makeup). i'm thinking like. cargo pants and any shirt or tank top that fits properly. she still has her super long hair tho. and i bet she'd wear a bunch of statement gold jewelry + like... hiking boots. and yin yu is sort of a mousy girl(she would have a blog. hello fem yin yu if youre on tumblr i see u) who wears slightly oversized dark-toned clothes and has a short-ish gay-ish haircut and wears headphones and sometimes wears eyeliner but not really any other makeup.

Jian Shi (Jian Yu) was cut from the story because the play was already too long to be accepted for the festivals. I decided to give more time to development of QuanYins' relationship than on following the canon.
Due to business of actor, one important line was not recorded. It should be the the last line, at the very end, Yizhen should say:
"Shixiong, I don't believe what they're saying about you. I want to hear your version of what happened and understand you. I'm returning to earth to find you and discover the truth."
Keep it in mind when watching the very end of the play. It has positive final actually!

I decided to make Brocade Immortal not in "humanizated" form as chinafd loves to do, but creepy thing.
This is my love letter to Quanyin. I was making almost everything by myself for 1,5 years (directing of voice recording, animation of videoback, scenario, sewing 2 yizhen and yin yu costumes) and spent all my savings. Some fights and costumes (like adult Yizhen) were not finished properly fot this reason, but it was maximum resources I could give to my most beloved characters at those time. I played Yizhen, and this role has existential meaning for me. I eager your feedback!
