Eaten straight from the pan warm, these brownies are infused with the cozy flavors of fall spices, making them perfect for chilly autumn days. Indulge in the comforting combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves, paired with rich cocoa, for a delightful treat.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. In a separate large bowl, mix together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Allow the brownies to cool slightly before cutting into squares. Serve warm straight from the pan. Enjoy!
