These White Chocolate Ganache Filled Brown Sugar Snickerdoodle Bars are the perfect combination of flavors and textures. A creamy white chocolate ganache layer complements the soft and chewy snickerdoodle base, making every bite a delightful experience.
Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 2 cups brown sugar. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon cream of tartar. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. 1/4 cup granulated sugar for rolling. 1 cup white chocolate chips. 1/2 cup heavy cream.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cream of tartar. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Press about two-thirds of the dough into the prepared baking pan, creating an even layer. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon for rolling. Sprinkle about half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough in the pan. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until the white chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Pour the white chocolate ganache over the dough in the pan and spread it into an even layer. Take spoonfuls of the remaining dough and flatten them slightly before placing them on top of the white chocolate layer. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
