Lol it’s okay. Thank you soso much!! I want to try to make my art more gritty and I reeeaaaly want to draw more Stuhlinger. Here’s some more Stuhlinger sketches I didn’t finish or post.

A 115 based delusion…?

To be honest, there is only one video that comes to my mind and I cannot find it for the life of me, I’m really sorry. Anything else I would’ve watched that genuinely helped me would have been made at least 4 years ago. I deleted YouTube a few weeks ago and don’t remember watching any useful or memorable art videos in the past few years. For the longest time I’ve just been rawdogging studying other artists until stuff started to click for me.

To make up for my lack of video recommendations I will recommend a few books that helped me learn.

- J.C. Leyendecker by Lawrence S. Cutler, Judy Goffman Cutler, and The National Museum of American Illustration

I treat Ultimis and Primis Richtofen’s noses the same because I doubt Treyarch edited his nose that much, if at all. Though if you did want to differentiate them then you could Ultimis Richtofen’s nose bigger, as noses continuously grow with age.

I’m giving a small anatomy lesson because it’s easier for me rather than trying to simplify what I’m thinking. I love Richtofen’s face and I’ve always thought about doing a full breakdown of his facial features. Not even for a reference or accuracy, I want to have a clear picture of what his skull, muscles, cartilage, etc etc is like under his skin. He would like that too I think.

Anyways, these are the references I usually use for his face. Sadly I don’t have a lot of good 3/4 and 3.5/4 views.
