@anorchidnight the only Pike and Shot fantasy stuff I can name off the top of my head, or as close as it can be, is Warhammer Fantasy, because the Empire basically uses a form of the Tercio for its main forces, and also certain provinces are noted to use pikes.

But you are 100% right that it is a MASSIVELY underutilized setting for fantasy, along with Post-Roman Britain/Europe.

That's the only one I can think of as well unfortunately. I would love so much to see it used properly because as cool as the Napoleonic era with magic approach can be it feels like such a "safer" route than a pike and shot era.

Strongly agree with that and would love to see it as well. A good friend of mine and I also lament the lack of sword and sandal that isn't retellings of myth and such.

Which is mad because the entire pike and shot period (mid 1500s to beginning of 1700s) was a period rife with mysticism and commentary on magic and crap, so it would be a good setting for fantasy stuff even in like a historical fantasy way. But also, the general vibe of the period as well just works perfectly with fantasy anyways. Just having landsknecht style uniforms alongside knights and then dragons and stuff like that, just fucking works. As Warhammer Fantasy shows.

Late Roman and Post Roman sword and sandals shit would be the fucking GOAT for fiction.
