That's 1% per year. The world is improving at a rate of 1% per year. That's the real speed of social progress. It's not nothing, but it is painfully slow for us here in a world made up of social media.

Yeah! No time is ever late for a WIP game! Grab your wings is my childhood-friends-who-had-a-falling-out-and-find-their-way–back-to-each-other-and–music AU that came about because I watched about 100 Hallmark movies last year. Julie helps Tia Victoria run her moms music shop. Luke was in LA trying to make it in the music scene but finds himself back home for a while. It probably wont be written and posted for quite a while but I've been posting little snippets for WIP games under juke fics: grab your wings. Here's a snippet for you!

Julie can feel the tears pricking at her eyes as she lays in bed. Why did Luke have to come back? She was doing fine! Perfectly fine! She had gone through hell and stitched herself back together—found a new relationship with music without her mom and Luke, and carved out a comfortable life for herself. It wasn't perfect, but things were good. Right?

Juke Phantom of the Opera Costumes Idea for the WIP game!

So this one is very much still a loose idea that isn’t quite fully formed yet, but I can explain what I have so far. Basically, it started with the idea that Christine and the Phantom from Phantom of the Opera would make a cute couple’s costume for Juke at some point, especially if they got to perform something from the musical together. I was chatting with @phantomxarmy about my thoughts since she is a fellow musical lover. And we thought it would be fun if Luke was kinda reluctant at first, because he’s not really familiar with the show and is all like, “Jules I know I am/was a literal phantom, but I’m a rockstar I do NOT do opera.” But then Julie takes him to see the show and he realizes how badass the music is and immediately agrees to the costume and performance. That’s all I have so far. It might turn into its own fic or it might end up getting worked into one of my other fics, who knows!
