The Pitt is meant to shine a light on the trauma, stress, burnout, and severe mental illness medical workers can experience. It’s not meant to be pretty because it isn’t pretty. If you don’t like that a show is giving representation to an under represented struggle in a group of people who keep everyone alive, including you, then don’t watch it.

Please go learn what mental illness can look like, what people struggling need from the people around them, and what mental illness feels like from the perspective of the person with it.

I have PTSD. I know it can be so hard, and he has to be retramatized everyday at work. I don’t, and I still find it so hard to deal with.

If you expect a person who watches people die and can’t always save them, has to tell their families their loved one is dead, has to fight through flashbacks to save people, and sees what the worst of humanity can do to innocent people to be perfectly mentally well you’re an idiot. Only someone with zero empathy wouldn’t be affected by that. Maybe you have low empathy so you can’t understand what it’s like, but don’t say things that could really hurt other people because you’re unempathetic.

No, your Twitter thread based largely on your feelings is not a genuine source. No, I do not think you throwing around scary words makes it less anti-semitic. No, articles from websites that seem to have a bias are not a source. No, you do not speak for any of the cast members about how they mean the opposite of what they say in interviews.
