I haven't done all of them, but not because of my youth - because of my lack of technical sophistication! Recording from radio to cassette was way beyond me, and I don't think us owning a VCR overlapped meaningfully with having a Blockbuster near enough to be worth using.

"Mario Mario" is an anachronism. He and his brother were only ever referred to by mononyms in their lifetime, like most residents of the Mushroom Kingdom at the time - multi-part names were typically reserved for members of the Toadstool dynasty, and even these were more like titles or Roman cognomina than what we would call a surname today. His putative ennoblement as founder of the "House of Mario" came centuries later as the collapsing feudal order sought additional sources of legitimacy

Quite so. I've touched on this before, but random lookup tables that are far too small for their stated purpose are a frequent vice of indie RPGs. A table of Weird Shit that's ostensibly meant to be rolled on at least once per scene but only has a dozen total entries is just making the hypothetical GM do your work for you in a more roundabout way.

I love people who are cis+. The ones who took the time to think about gender and decided they liked the one they were given. They project good gender vibes even if they aren't trans.

Look, when you see someone talking about a particular bit of tabletop RPG rules tech and your first reaction is "well, that just doesn't sound practical", your first question should be whether you've actually identified a problem, or whether you've merely assumed without justification that every part of the game in question other than the bit you just read about is identical to Dungeons & Dragons.

You need to understand that I get "but that doesn't make sense because how would it interact with levelling up" in my notifications like three times a week.
