The democratic party leadership isn't actually filled with 5th column conservatives. But what it is filled with is people who have been patholigically conditioned to find compromise at every step.

They've been convinced, since JFK got his dome popped, that the only way to do business is to court the right because the Left has no choice but them, and because young leftists just won't turn out to vote.

That's obviously not the case, or if it was, it was because they screwed the pooch every time.

So they can't really conceive that energizing your voting base by offering actual policy changes and pushing for things that aren't compromises with a group of extremeists who make up barely an 8th of the nation but have gerrymandered their way into power is the answer.

rolling stone: every person in a position of power in the US collaborated together to do this to you. the media sold you out for profit and aided in the indoctrination of millions to right-wing xenophobia via instilling a fake crime panic. Biden sold you out by putting his own selfish ambitions before the wellbeing of 330~ million citizens by running for a 2nd term and failing to undo any of the cruelty and pain done to people who were hurt under Trump and in some cases making the pain worse. the rest of the Democratic party sold you out by falling in line, normalizing Trumps rhetoric and becoming Republican Lite. Federal law enforcement sold you out via Merrick Garland doing absolutely positively nothing to prosecute right-wing extremism, falsely adding to the Trump narrative that it wasn't all that serious. and most of all, corporations sold you out as they always do, by working together to falsely inflate prices over the last 4 years, causing the economy to appear far worse to the (yet again) unwitting public who have been totally devastated and in some cases made homeless. this also dooms the Democrats on the economy for the foreseeable future. hold these institutions accountable.

It used to be understood that if someone using a throwaway blog suddenly starts messaging a bunch of accounts to beg for money, they were most likely a scammer.

Now suddenly there are fucking swarms of throwaway bots relentlessly shilling GoFundMe campaigns to anyone who even so much as breathes in the direction of a trending tag or post, yet the mere suggestion that any of these could be a scam will immediately get you yelled at by self-righteous strangers.

Not only is it less work than before, but now you don't even need to do anything to make people believe it, you just crowdsource that out, because calling out your scam is now cultural anathema.

We see this in real life too - men are often angry because in patriarchal/toxic masculine culture, anger and aggression are really the only socially acceptable emotions for a man to express.

Also, we don't see much of Byakuya's grandfather Ginrei, but what we do see, he looks like a very stern and severe figure, likely unforgiving of mistakes. Given that he would have been B's primary authority figure after his parents died, it's highly likely B was brought up to exert rigid control over his emotions and not allowed to develop much of his own interests or his own independent personality outside of the expectations upon him to become captain of the 6th and leader of the clan.

So of course he's unbalanced and has a tendency towards enmeshment when he finally allows himself to feel -- he has no history or practice with how to express himself emotionally in a healthy way or how to deal with relationships without becoming overly possessive.

What I found is that, from her perspective, your partner being sexually attracted to someone other than you indicates that you are not enough for them. That if they truly loved you, if they actually meant it when they said you're the only one they need, that being attracted to you and your body would proclude them from being horny for anyone else. For her and the women who follow her, their husbands looking at porn isn't just a sin, it's an insult to them personally. To them it means that they aren't attractive enough to keep their men from looking elsewhere.
