Hotch often has to remind Spencer to turn on the safety on his gun because he usually doesn’t have it on. Like Spencer is just carrying around a loaded gun without the safety in a position where he could accidentally hurt himself. How could someone so smart with a good memory make a mistake like that so often?
Everyone loves Spencer Reid because he’s fun and silly and sweet or whatever but I’d like to remind everyone that we should just be grateful he has morals. Because if he didn’t he would be the best serial killer ever. He has an eidetic memory and an iq of 187. That’s 102 points above average. He would probably be able to run from the cops forever and use his fbi knowledge and abilities to hide all evidence against himself.
(Yes this is motivation for someone to make a dark/killer Reid au because it’d be fun)
