This one hit hard, since we just had the wake, funeral, and entombment for my grandmother. My mother was so young when she had me that all my family basically raised me at some point, including my Grandma.
I still have her number in my phone. I, most likely, will not ever get rid of it.
Both yes and no.
I still have my dad’s number.
Unfortunately I don’t have my cousin number.
My phone book is a digital cemetery.
I also have my mom's last voicemail to me saved in four different places and ever since I discovered I still had it I've saved a selection of others from friends and family.
My wife died a couple weeks ago. Cancer. She was 26. I miss her constantly.
I still call her phone so I can listen to her voicemail tell me to have a good day. I think I’ll keep paying her phone bill for awhile.
