We had a Windows 95 desktop until 2015, on which we used floppy disks for school projects until the school stopped having the technology to access them.
My sisters were both born in the 90s, and I watched all the same cartoons and stuff they did. Tailspin? Watched it every Saturday morning until it stopped airing, and still have some episodes on VHS. The old Duck Tales? Same thing.
I remember being in high school in 2017 and seeing all my classmates mystified by this mysterious piece of technology the teacher was using. It was a VCR. Something which I had at home. The teacher actually gave me 5 points extra credit for knowing what it was called.
We didn't have any game systems newer than the PS2 ever, but we had 6 different Plug n Plays, something which most kids my age growing up did not even know existed.
I relate much more to "90s kid" things than I do to early 2000s.

ADHD memory is so weird. saw a post about this earlier but it made me think: tumblr really is the only social media site where I go on and have a good time and then carry on with my day. I know it's completely curated because there are some awful people here but that (the curation) in itself is a privilege of the site. Every other social media site is designed to make you angry for more engagement
