I was 16 years old when they medicated me with Quetiapine. I spent the rest of my teenage years on the aforementioned and Vilazodone. I was on autopilot, so I don't really remember much of my teenage years. I'm 22 now, I'm still on antipsychotics but a different kind. I'm also on a gabapentinoid which really helped with the anxiety. All of this to say, if your current medication isn't working, let your doctor know. Every person is different and no medication is a silver bullet. Medication is a crutch and even crutches have to be adjusted to every particular person, so the analogy is quite good. Let your doctor know if your medication isn't working, it really gets better
