A/N: First fic! Sorry that it’s kind of long. I don’t know if this would be considered “angsty” but it is kind of sad in the beginning but trust me it becomes really sweet at the end!
Julie and the Phantoms was such a good show. I loved how the writers and Charlie showed that despite how positive Luke was, he was harboring a lot of pain inside when it came to how he left him mom that he didn’t show anyone. This piece touches on that point a little bit more. If you would like to leave a review, that would be super appreciated. I’m sure there are a bunch of grammar errors anyway.

Luke came to you after he left Julie at his parents house. He told you about the song to his mom, about how his parents still celebrated his birthday after all these years. He told you about the grief he felt and how he felt like he had no one. You told him that he had you, and Julie, and the guys most importantly, that you were sure they missed their family members too. He admitted to you though, that both Alex and Reggie avoided talking about their family, it was one of the only things that they weren’t being honest about with each other. He said he couldn’t be the one to bring it up.
“I’m the strong one!” He explained. “If I don’t push them forward, they’ll fall apart. I have to be happy, I have to be okay so they-“
“It’s okay not to be okay all the time, Luke,” You interrupt him, then you send him a sympathetic smile as you come to a realization: “I didn’t know you put all this pressure on yourself… I’m sorry. Come here,” without thinking you motion him forward, arms reaching to grasp his back, only catching handfuls of air.

Sasuke is a cold yandere.
He feels no sympathy towards how upset you, very reasonably, are about being kidnapped, nor does he try to understand where your rebellion is coming from.
You weren’t stupid enough to try to fight him physically, there is no question that he will overpower you, so you’d beat him by other means.
In the beginning, he was quite unfazed by your silence, he was more so amused and honestly found it to be pathetic and adorable.
Sasuke was more than happy to take advantage of your silence, he quickly became uncharacteristically affectionate - exploiting your own plan as an opportunity to freely touch you as he pleases.
He began pulling you into his lap every chance he got in hopes that you’d finally break your silence to protest.
“Nothing, no response love?”
He’ll taunt you, and do anything he can to piss you off.
“You’ve got some self-discipline, I’ll give you that, but it doesn’t make you any less weak.”
When his teasing and taunting doesn’t work, he becomes more physical.
Sasuke will grab you by the chin, forcing you to look at him while the smuggest smirk sits on his face.
“My patience is running thin y/n, I suggest you re-think what you’re doing.”
As your silence vow goes on, he no longer finds it cute.
He snaps out of nowhere, a total abrupt loss of patience - he is sick of it and refuses to tolerate it a second longer.
Sasuke storms into your room and crouches in front of you, he aggressively grabs you by the chin again.
“I’m only going to say this once so listen carefully. If you continue to be silent with me, I will make you scream instead.”

The neon lights basked you and Gojo in a bath of light, around you rides were sounding while people were screaming. Others were walking and laughing with their friends. You walked beside Gojo, part of you was hoping something would happen. You didn’t remember how long you’ve liked him, but trying to crush it wasn’t working.
Especially when he was easy to be around. You enjoyed talking to him and you figured the feeling was mutual considering you both couldn’t be near each other if there was a mission briefing. The both of you would only have to send a look that got you laughing and you couldn’t stop it. Nanami had been exhausted the first time he was present, it normally happened whenever the old man would debrief something.
You just enjoyed his company, but yet you couldn’t help but want more. It was incredibly cheesy, but you couldn’t help it which only built to your frustration because out of everybody you could’ve wanted to date it had to be Gojo.
“So,” you said, shaking your head. You could get in your thoughts later, now was not the time. You side eyed him with a smile. “Have any fun?”
He lowered his sunglasses with a grin while he pretended to mull over the question. Your heart tugged in your chest, he looked beautiful as much as it pained you to admit it. With his vibrant blue eyes, maybe it was just the Summer air getting to you, but it was like there was something different between the two of you, but you couldn’t place it. You internally screamed willing yourself to get it together.
“I don’t know, depends on you? Did you have fun, beautiful?”
You frowned slightly before fixing it. You hated when he did that. Sometimes you wished you could pretend for a bit that for one second the two of you could be something. You weren’t stupid, you knew about the rumors that were centered around him. It was well known that Gojo moved from person to person, especially within the sorcerers. He never stayed too long and always flirted to make up for that. If you knew his feelings towards you this entire thing could be resolved and you could move on.
You were so lost in your thoughts you didn’t realize that he stopped walking until you snapped out of it and noticed he was no longer beside you. Panicked you turned around only to see him with his head cocked to the side, eyebrows furrowed.
“Are you okay?” He asked once he caught up with you. All you could do was nod, you just had to ignore your intrusive thoughts and everything would be fine.
You missed the way he furrowed his brows. “You sure? Because I just talked about the glitter incident and you didn’t laugh.”
“Please tell me he’s still finding glitter everywhere,” you said attempting to conceal the small smile worming its way onto your face.
He gestured wildly, “He is! Just yesterday he went to play his guitar and a whole wad of glitter flew, it was great. I have a picture and everything!”
You watched him fish out his phone and start to scroll through it. You remembered the glitter incident, it had been after the old man insulted Itadori that you and Gojo decided to take matters into your own hands. You ordered a crap ton of glitter and while he was out you poured it everywhere, even over his guitar. You could only imagine his face when he came back to his house doused in glitter. That had been one of your greatest pranks.
“Ah, got it!” He said triumphantly, stopping for a second to show you his screen. You expected to see a picture of the old man looking tired and absolutely done with everything only to see a picture of the two of you, you raised an eyebrow at him while he pretended to panic.
“Oh shit um,” he began, scrolling through his camera roll that consisted of all the pictures the two of you took together as you crossed your arms over your chest.
“Did you seriously use a TikTok trend to tell me you like me?”
He rubbed the back of his neck, “uh, maybe?” He fixed his gaze on the ground. “Look, I had this grand scheme planned, a fancy dinner, serenading you, but I kind of wanted to tell you now and nothing really seemed right.” He took a deep breath. “I’m not-I’m not really good at this type of thing. I’ve never really been serious before but I well, shit just just give me a second.” He began to scroll through his phone again. “I wrote notes and-”
You couldn’t help it, you tossed your head back and laughed. “Oh hon,” you said softly with a shake of your head. “Notes?”
He pouted at you which had no right to be as cute as it was. “I had a lot I wanted to tell you, okay?”
Stepping closer to him you interlock your hands together. “Yes.”
He cocked his head to the side causing a small giggle to burst from your lips. “Yes I’ll date you, you poor poor romantic.”
He dramatically gasped, placing a hand over his heart. “A poor romantic,” he spluttered making you laugh. “I’m hurt, wounded even.”
You shook your head and shoved him playfully making sure your hands didn’t break apart. “Okay, okay you dork.”
Both of you walked towards the meeting place in a comfortable silence. It wasn’t until you were almost at the exit gate that Gojo spoke up again.
“Are you sure?” He asked softly, you almost missed it.
You furrowed your brows, what was he talking about?
“Are you sure you want to date me? I mean like I said I’ve never done this before and what if I-”
You stop him from talking any further. “Satoru, I’m fully aware of your lack of dating, believe me and I never do anything I don’t want to. You’re a fast learner, I’m sure dating is no different, understand?” You asked, cupping his face in your hands. He nodded.

• Make a fist with your thumb outside, not tucked inside. If it’s tucked inside your fist, when you punch someone, you might break your thumb. The thumb goes across your fingers, not on the side.
• Don’t be like in the movies—don’t aim for the face. Face punches don’t usually stop people, and you can miss when they duck their head or break your hand on their jaw. If you want to get away quickly, or end a fight, aim for the chest, or the ribs. If you really want to do some damage, e.g., you’re being attacked, aim for the throat, which will make it hard for your attacker to breathe for a hot minute.
• When you punch, you want to aim and hit with your first two knuckles. Not the flats of your fingers, and not your ring or pinky knuckles, which can break more easily. You can use your weight, if you’re on your feet, to add wallop, and spring into a punch with your feet and torso.
if your attacker is male, go for his junk - especially if he’s wearing loose pants. There’s no sportsmanship when it comes to assault so fuck them balls UP
punching pretty much ANYWHERE in the face is going to actually hurt you a LOT (just think - you’re punching your bones into their bones and ow). If you’re going for the face, my suggestion is to strick upwards with your palm.
see that meaty portion highlighted in red? There’s a lot of muscle and fat right there which makes it excellent for striking. Hold your hand as shown and aim for the nose or chin (though I’ve been told in extreme circumstances, doing this to the nose can be fatal but I’ve never really heard if this is true or not) and just aim upwards
other delicate areas:
the shin (hurts like a bitch if you kick it right - also, you can hit this spot if you’re being held in a choke-hold and if your attacker has to move in order to stop you from kicking him, he’ll have to angle his body so as to expose his stomach and crotch to the wild spastic jabbings of your elbows)
the solar plexus (either jab while holding your hand in a sort of spear position or use your elbows - unless you’re super strong, your punch probably won’t wind your attacker. Your elbow or a spear hand will, however)
Originally in (most) martial arts, you hit the solar plexus because it supposedly contained an important chakra. Now we know that it actually also contains like a bunch of necessary organs that are exposed just below your ribs and is also (roughly) where your diaphragm lives so getting punched there is not pleasant.
the clavicle (from experience, getting hit in your clavicle HURTS LIKE A MOTHERFUCKER. If you strike downwards with your knuckles, the person might just cry. Like I did.)
the ear (this is probably the best place to punch besides the throat. It’s all cartilage so it probably won’t hurt you all that much and most people will be like “DUDE YOU PUNCHED ME IN THE EAR WHAT THE HELL”)
the kidneys (this is harder to hit without training but if you somehow get your attacker’s back to face you, try to hit’em in the kidneys. Again, from experience, this FUCKING HURTS. You can’t really hit the kidneys from the front with any effect but from the back it is super painful)
if you’re held in a choke-hold, try turning your head so the forearm isn’t pressed into your throat. If you can position yourself right, you can sort of force your chin into the crook of the elbow, making you able to still receive (limited) oxygen and provide time for you to kick some shins or elbow some spleens and shit
-Also, remember that a guy’s junk is not an off-button. Don’t think that you can rely on a swift kick to the balls to immediately incapacitate him in an emergency. Adrenaline and anger can keep somebody going for a long time even through extreme pain, and if you expect to end a fight with a single groin-attack you might be caught off-guard when he doesn’t drop. Certainly go for it if you get the chance, but keep hitting him until the fight is over.
-Draw blood if you can, especially if you can draw it from the face or the eyes. Blood in the eyes is not just a good way to impair your attacker’s vision, it’s also a really good way to freak them out and let them know that they might be getting more than they bargained for by picking a fight with you.
-Elbows and knees are really powerful weapons. Elbows are very sharp and very strong and if you are in close-range they are often more effective than trying to throw a punch.
Nothing much to add to this, it’s pretty much all there. So. Reblog. Oh, also, it’s really easy to break a nose - go for the eyes too. All it takes to avoid a shot to the throat is tucking your chin.
Also, that part about the ear - don’t punch. An open hand over the ear hurts a lot.
Also if you fuck up their face it’ll be easier for police to identify the attacker.
If someone gets you from behind and you cant punch them, go for the underside of the upper-arm. A bad pinch there is legit so painful because that skin is super sensitive.
Also this cant be stressed enough, if the attacker is a guy then fucking rip his junk off.
Something that kinda needs to be stressed as well most martial arts teachers agree: a strike from the elbow is the most powerful strike you can do. If you can get close enough to safely do it, DO IT.
But don’t risk your life to try and get in closer if punches can do fine.
And remember a kick to the groin (no matter what genitalia the attacker has)hurts and it will not incapacitate but it might just shock them enough to distract them so you can either use another self-defence move and/ or escape
dont aim at shoulders. Unless you know that the person has a weak/injured shoulder, it’ll do nothing but piss them off more
If your attacker has balls and you’re pinned against a wall, a knee to hit groin will absolutely fuck him up enough to give you a little bit of time to fight back
If you wear acrylic nails: scratch at his face of you can. It’ll hurt like a bitch and he’ll be easier to identify later on
Swiss army knives are better than switch blades when it comes to your own safety (switchblades tend to close themselves if they hit something from the wrong angle, but swiss army knives will just keep going)
If you tend to wear close toed shoes where to toe part is solid (some high heels, converse, steel toed boots) dont be afraid to use your feet. Getting kicked by high heels hurts so fucking much
If you’re able, the back of the knee can make your attacker lose balance if you hit it
I understand why he showed it but watching Jeff hanging underwater knowing the state of his head injury was so heartbreaking. the way you were so oblivious to the signs. when gojo would make excuses to be near you and so he'd talk to the teacher for a while more, waiting for you to pack up so that he could walk out of class with you. gojo is as outgoing as we know it but he really did just prefer being around you.
the way he didn't deny it when people would say he likes you. he would be very cheeky about it and ask who doesn't? everyone did love you to a fault. and after all, it's not like he was trying to hide it. he loved taking you to try new street foods or restaurants, taking your interests into account and would let you lead the way for your little hangout.

'where did that bold person go? when did you become so shy?' is what he thought as you spoke. regardless, gojo thought it was adorable. if he was being honest he was bummed out he couldn't confess first, especially since he was sure he's the one who fell first.
the way no one was surprised when word came out you two were dating. a lot thought you could’ve went for someone better but in truth everyone say you as a good pair, made for each other even, soulmates if you will. you both were each other best friends but her perfect as partners and the balance was there, how could you both not end up together?

- “The only thing they’ll be once I’m done with them is…dead” You slur out that last part, falling back into slumber with a small smile on your face as you feel Yuji shake with silent laughter, his hand coming up to gently pat the back of your head,

You jump and press a hand to your heart, laughing breathlessly at the tall, lanky man in your room, grinning cheerily, his blindfold creasing.
“Yo.”
“Satoru! What’re you doing here?”
“Ahhhh didn’t you hear me? I got lost trying to find my way home.” He eyes you up and down as you squirm, fighting the urge to cross your arms. “You look nice. What’re you so dressed up for?”
As if he doesn’t know.
“You’re in the wrong city for Shinjuku station,” you say, a teasing smile in place. “Your old age must be getting to you.”
“Oho, so we’re going straight to low blows today, hm?.” He strides over and hums, nodding as he spins his finger, clapping as you oblige and give him a twirl. “Very nice.”
“Yeah, I’d hope so--”
“Are you still with...ahhhhh...what’s his name again?”
As if he doesn’t know.
“Shigeru?” Your smile grows a little tense. “Have been for the past five years.”
He raises his eyebrows; the blindfold shifts. For a moment you dare to believe you might see a peek of what’s underneath, but he makes no move to tug it down as he mouths quiet and overexaggerated, five?
“That’s longer than we were together!”
“Yeah,” you say, short; clipped.
“Lucky, lucky man.” He taps at his chin as he leans towards you, pouting in a way that’s childish and playful and very much Satoru. “What does he have that I don’t?”
It’s said half in jest, but there’s a weight you can’t ignore, a barely hidden plea that makes your stomach churn. For a moment, you think of lying, think of ignoring it, think of pretending the way he always does that everything is just one big joke. Maybe that’s the problem: maybe you’ve both been too busy trying to keep up the façade, laying veneer on top of veneer even as the foundation has crumbled away. And, you think faintly, guiltily, maybe today of all days he deserves to hear the truth. You take a breath.
“Stability. Consistency. Loyalty.” It’s said without anger, without spite. You knew, all those years ago, what Satoru is; who Satoru is. It’s the nature of being too powerful, the nature of being too knowing; the curse of a god pressed and moulded into the shape of a man. The only lingering bitterness that still haunts you, that pulls you from your bed at three in the morning is that you never expected to fall to the wayside so fast during his journey from thrill to thrill.
“Ouch. You’re not holding back, hm?”
That has more levity in it; has that artificial sweetness in it that tells you the conversation was over before it even began; that Satoru’s far too used to plastic smiles and canned laughter at this point in time. You let yourself slip back into place, tug out the script he’s already written for you and glance down at your well-worn lines.
“I’m allowed to today; it’s special.” You grin at him the way he expects you to, knowing you can’t mask the melancholy from him no matter how hard you try. “It’s like how you’re allowed to do whatever you want on your birthday.”
“Ahhhh I’ll be sure to keep that in mind.” He bends towards you and brushes a kiss along your forehead, and you both pretend not to notice the way his lips linger, the way your eyes flutter shut. “I should go. Don’t want to rain on your parade.”
You could never, is what you want to say. Instead you allow yourself the guilty indulgence of squeezing at his hand, feeling the way his palm fits against yours, the way your fingers twitch and long to interlace with his, even though you won’t allow them to. If they do...well, you’re afraid you’ll never let go.
“You’re probably busy anyway.”
He holds on a little tighter when you try to pull away, tugging you forward a half-step to murmur, “You know me so well.”
His voice resonates, echoing loud and aching between your ribs, prying your mouth open to let slip the words you shouldn’t say--then he’s gone, the door creaking open, your bridesmaid popping her head in with a bright smile and an excited glimmer in her eye. “It’s almost time!”
You let your hand fall, feeling his warmth dissipate from your skin.

The first time you meet him, he tries to buy the last strawberry sliced cake that you were both eyeing for triple its price.
“Hey, I saw that first.” A youthful voice, clear and bright.
The wooden tongs, hovering carefully over the cake freezes. It nearly slips out of your fingers when a hard body jostles against your elbow and you blink in surprise at the force before righting yourself in mild annoyance.
Silently, you turned to face the culprit. A dark blue baseball cap and a pair of dark tinted sunglasses perched on the elegant bridge of his nose that shields his gaze. He’s absurdly tall, enough so that you had to crane your neck up in order to look properly at his face. You swear you catch a hint of silver that gleams teasingly underneath the shadows of his cap.
You blink again and he clicks his tongue. “Are you going to take it?”
“Would you take it if I didn’t?” You said slowly, pondering your next words. Curious eyes flicker over his outfit, he’s dorned in black from head to toe, leaving only a silver of his collarbones peeking out the collar.
