The Duo (even if Swerve has never said it before, Tailgate knows that he appreciates him)

The look so yapper and listener coded in Shattered Glass..

HC!: He has this habit of staring at you awkwardly until you finally decide he can leave when you absolutely need him to TALK during mission briefings. Therefore, Rodimus decided it would be good idea to put him with a partner who actually TALKS and gives the reports instead of Swerve (Which, unfortunately for him, ended up being Tailgate but still an improvement) Because, actually? He would much rather deal with the insane crap he knows Tailgate (the little menace he is) is gonna put on him on every report than deal with whatever the fuck is wrong with Swerve.

Swerve doesn't help himself either, since he also lowers the "opacity" of one side of his visor a bit to get them to dismissed him faster, because he knows that his right optic is kinda uncanny to other bots (except for Tailgate, much to his own surprise)

Okay, but someone please explain question marks when followed by a dialogue tag. How do?

“The speech tag is still part of the previous sentence,” ze explained, “so it isn’t capitalised.”

“What do you mean?” he asked. “But there’s a full stop as part of the question mark!”

Ze nodded gravely. “I know!” ze said. “A lot of people find this confusing. But the speech tag belongs to the line of dialogue, it’s still part of the sentence, so it’s wrong to capitalise it.”

Ze reblogged the post again, because ze had recently read far too many potentially enjoyable stories marred by poor dialogue punctuation.

Uhhhh a lot of this was to satiate my desire for Blurr to dance around Shockwave like a fairy and to draw Shockwave looking progressively more and more unhinged.

I included a number of tells (despite the obvious) but the funniest one that was completely by accident was Shockwave asking Blurr for directions and Blurr giving them to him.
