You’re right haha you’re right. But also. Shockwave IS. In fact. Incredibly petty. The only purpose of all his “nice” gestures is to just fuck with Blurr’s steadily growing paranoia. Punishing Blurr would be quick and easy but Shockwave wants to see the mech squirming and stressing, trying to remember his every word. Blurr is panicking very hard and Shockwave is having the best time of his life~

Well I mostly failed to add that Shockwave would have all his little quirks but more subtle versions of them:D
Like during the first half of the story Blurr would tease him and he would immediately forget every coherent thought he had and be like WHA..HUHM😳
And then after the fifty years skip Blurr is like. Making a teasing comment. And instead of blushing and panicking Shockwave just goes very still for a minute. Which LOOKS like he got better at controlling himself but really he just screams internally lmao

Reverse fairy au
Blurr doesn't 'save' fairy shockwave he kidnaps him, because he was specifically told not to mess with the fae and took it as a challenge.
He succeeds because everytime he accidentally says something stupid he just kisses fairy shockwave on the mouth (or whole face depending on current size) leaving him a blushing mess incapable of articulating and thus unable to twist anything into a deal.
