Scrubbing through my procreate and found this old dpax art. It’s probably not finished and may not ever be finished. But I like the rainbows.

Sometimes I can’t reply to you, cause you keep guessing the plot 😭😭😭 but I wasn’t sure if I’d put this plot point in the official cannon or not, so I’ll just go ahead and explain it anyways.

He’s gonna be terrified no matter what. He’s more prone to be taken out by pain, he’d think he’s not like prowl. Even though he said he’d be more open to it, once it would happen he’d be absolutely terrified.

He likes his alt mode, like prowl and likes the way he looks. Most of all he’s scared of the pain and that he won’t be strong enough to go through with it. He’d honestly have no idea what he’d want to do. His best guess would be to talk to Prowl.

Prowl would be over the moon but would hide it behind his calm expression. He wouldn’t be mad at Jazz for not being sure, Jazz did make it clear he had no desire to carry at the beginning of the relationship.

Prowl would suggest that since he’s very early in his carrying stage (stage 1 exact). They could transfer the sparkling into Prowl’s spark, and he’d do the carrying. So now Jazz doesn’t have to carry and they would still have the sparkling. Prowl would try to keep his feeling and opinions to himself just for Jazz’s sake and to feel more comfortable. But he’d really hope no matter what Jazz would at the very least let them keep that sparkling. He’s trying his best to contain his excitement.

Jazz still wouldn’t be sure. He doesn’t know what he’d wants. Jazz would agree to the swap, only because it seems to be easier.

But when the day comes and Prowl has his spark chamber open and ready to go. Jazz asked if Prowl believes he could do it and carry that sparkling to term. Prowl of course says, yes. Of course he could, Jazz is the strongest person he knows.

They’d leave med bay together not having done anything. Jazz feels better, especially having an experienced partner. He’s still scared. But he’s more confident knowing Prowl believes he’ll be able to do it.

I feel like Prowl would want another. Once he got his sparklings back in his arms he just adores them. He could see himself either carrying again or adopting, he actually enjoyed carrying and his sparklings are all worth it in the end. He’d also want to so he can experience all the milestones he missed out on with his twins.

Jazz would be more deterred. In the beginning he wanted as many sparklings as Prowl was willing to give him, but now He’s just feels kind of ugly about it. He went through a lot. He feels guilty too because Prowl has expressed that he’d do it all againn or that he’d look for smoother wild sparkling to adopt. And Jazz just feels bad about it.

But what was the first family thing Prowl did after he reunited with his family? (For the Forteverse ofc)

Also, what the kiddos (all of them, Springer also might have a family dreams, right?) wished to do with both Prowl and Jazz? Like going to sleep, all tucked in and just dreaming about carrier coming back and doing *the thing*?

Even through prowl is supposed to be healing and resting, he went right into carrier mode. Taking care of the kids, feeding and cleaning his sparklings, catching up with Rubble and taking care of him too. To Prowl it’s almost like he didn’t leave at all but also he’d be grappling with the fact he’s missed a lot of his sparklings milestones. Jazz is taking the opportunity to get some rest, even tho he knows he probably shouldn’t. He’s been… distant. For the most part I’d say they’re focusing on just getting used to each other again.

The two sparklings act like he’s been there the whole time. Which isn’t surprising, they knew Prowl before they knew anyone else. Rubble also doesn’t want to leave Prowl alone. He doesn’t want him to disappear again. They just want to cuddle with their carrier and be as close as possible is their only wish.

Id like to think all his babies are like this! A lot. More than likely they were all crying at one point. They all need him….

As for Springer. He kind of knew once Prowl returned to his family he’d be really busy. He’s not sad about it. He’s just so glad everything worked out. He expected that the distance would come back, they were all once strangers after all. But to his surprise, Prowl calls. At least once a day just to check on him. To Springer the nicest thing is just being seen. He appreciates Prowl’s effort to keep in touch and to learn more about him. When Prowl gets less busy he’ll go visit.

His ugly scowl he gets from prowl would say it all. He’s just as protective 😆.

Velo prowl took about 2 months to recover fully. ( not including weight loss.) pretty average for velocitronian. His tcog works and he can use his alt mode again. Unfortunately Velo sparklings take at least 6 months to not be completely reliant on their carrier. So he’s gonna have his hands full for a while.

Forte-verse prowl is uhh special case. It should have taken him just a couple of weeks to a month to recover if it was a normal carrying. But We’ve established it wasn’t, so with the added injuries it would’ve taken at least 3 months. But it hasn’t.

Punch is usually in a disguise so if Jazz and him have interacted Jazz wouldn’t know. But I’m gonna say tha punch worked under someone else in the autobot command.

Unfortunately or fortunately, tho Punch has been let go. They found out how old he was. Mech is age aren’t allowed to be fighting in such dangerous situations. (Exception of Kup.) so he’s back to doing more labor jobs. As for him and snow, I decided to change it to that they are divorced. Sure the sparkmerge cannot be undone but they are no longer conjunxed.

AS FOR FUN FACTS.

Jazz’s sparkling found out that he cannot see very well and they’re using it to their advantage. Mostly just to initiate play. Jalopy will snatch his visor, sometimes right off his face and take off with it. Nautica will take it when Jazz sets it down and meander somewhere with it and drop it in a weird place. Jazz can still get around but he knows they like it when he chases them.

(When the sparkling get to meet prowl.) they will take great amusement in his face. Something about seeing their carrier or feeling his field makes them laugh. Prowl has no idea why.

Uh….I guess another question is after Forte verse is done would you prefer to have a break afterwards before you get interested in the Scavenger/Wheeljack story thing you had going and or other Au’s you had before you put your focus towards forte verse? I mean you’ve done such a good job of the story already so it be super understandable.

I’d say pretty good. I really need to finish what happened to prowl, it’s actually done, I just gotta clean it up. I know that’s a lot of people’s introduction into the story. But a lot of stuff is all ready written. And there’s comics for many of the senecio that’s are in like a skeletal phase.

There are things I wanted to add but sometimes I think I’m doing to far. Like it’s too much unnecessary pain and suffering. I like media that is brutal and painful, but also stuff that talks about a lot of feelings. I think that’s why I like earthspark so much lol. And unfortunately prowl and jazz are my muse. Sometimes I go back and forth in my head about writing because I really don’t have anyone to bounce this mechpreg story back and forth too. So I really try and think about the decisions I make.

Something I wanted to add but I put on the back burner is Megatron’s carrying and how it drove him crazy. As funny as that sounds I wanted to add a lot of not fun and dark stuff. And honestly I’m really not sure if it’s a good idea to add all that. Like a lot of people read forte-verse for fun and angst. Adding all that stuff I wanted to add may be, triggering. So yeah no, that’s just gonna live in my head.

After forte-verse is done (that will be a sad day 🥀) I would like to take a break from drawing tf comic. And maybe post my other au (scavenger and wheeljack) a lot more casually. Maybe I’d do it in more writing form 🤷.

Of course! Let’s think of them discovering their strengths and weaknesses when raising Rubble. He was the guinea pig baby after all. 

I’ll start with weakness-

Prowl doesn’t talk to his sparkling, he tries to teach them words sure, but he doesn’t ask them questions or tell them stories. Prowls thoughts are they don’t understand him so what’s the point. while Jazz will have full blown conversations with them. Jazz informed Prowler that it’s actually very healthy for a Sparklings development, so Prowl tries his best. Even if he’s a little awkward about it.

Prowl is a hardass. He’s incredibly strict. If he wants something done right they’ll sit there till it’s finished. Rubble doesn’t finish his food? Well they’re gonna sit there till he does. Not cleaning up the way he wants it done? Well they’re gonna sit there and fix it even if it takes two hours. This is generally a good skill but Prowl has a tendency to take it too far.

Jazz is not very good at disciplining. He left all of it up to Prowl. Not very cool of him. He just starts feeling bad when Rubble started getting upset. Especially doing certain chores that would really make rubble mad, like baths and bed time, he’d just leave that to Prowl.

Jazz used to believe that sparklings belong more to the carrier than the sire. That can lead to all kinds of mishaps. It’s a toxic belief that he carried from his idiot parents.

Jazz gets easily overwhelmed with a crying and screaming sparkling. He gets frustrated if he can’t figure out what’s the matter. Normally he’ll walk away and come back to the sparklings when he’s feeling less negative. Of course prowl has probably already calmed the sparkling by that time.

Now the Strengths!-

Prowl is seemingly immune to screaming and crying. It just… doesn’t bother him. He handles very situation calm and orderly. Sometimes the sparkling cries for no reason, and sometimes they’re crying for a very good reason. Prowl treats it both with the same calculated effort to get the best possible result. Especially in an emergency. He’s able to keep both the sparkling and jazz calm.

Prowl is incredible protective. He’s powerful and intimidating to others and the sparkling can feel that through his field. And in a would have big scary metal, and often short tempered cybertronians, it helps to have such a powerful carrier. Prowl allows no one to just touch his sparklings and just don’t hand them over to anyone. It builds the sparklings confidence, knowing they’re always safe and secure.

Jazz is incredibly loving and calm. He’s a source of calm comfort for a sparkling. He also has a very strong presence within his field. He’s got a soft voice and is always trying to talk and interact with the sparkling. He plays with them constantly and this usually helps give Prowl a break too.

Jazz is an incredible sire. He always makes sure Prowl and the sparkling are well cared for. He makes nests and gets plenty of food for the both of them. He’ll still do chores he’s not good at to give Prowl a break. And if he can’t, he’ll do other chores so Prowl doesn’t have to worry about them. Any way he can make Prowl and the Sparklings life stress free he’ll do it.

Jazz is also very protective of his sparklings. Not to an aggressive degree but he’s got a look but don’t touch policy. Normally he puts himself in between other bots and his sparkling and prowl. First line of defense and first to sacrifice himself.

All this is stuff Jazz and prowl learned about themselves while raising rubble. It’s a different story for the twins. Especially for Jazz.

Jazz learned to discipline his sparklings in a general way and got better at managing the crying.

Jazz more or less took the place as carrier. Unfortunately all things he absolutely had to learn without Prowl.

How does Rubble react to the twins?

After Springer and Prowl get closer, how does Rubble and the twins interact with Springer?

-Same as she reacts to every new person. Distant and mean. Screeches if you look at her. But she always comes around.

-When Jazz first brought the twins home it was pretty upsetting and traumatizing for him. He knew prowl was carrying, there’s no mistake about that. And like the rest of the family, he was excited about getting new siblings. Now imagine Prowl at the end of his carrying cycle, goes missing. Jazz leaves to look for him, and a day later of hoping and praying everything is okay, Jazz only returns with the new sparklings. And no Prowl. So he didn’t really react much to them for the first couple of days. But eventually he found some comfort in his new siblings, he cries while holding them a lot. He misses prowl and grapples with the fact that they may be the last thing left of his carrier.
