i adore the coloring in them and would love to hear how you did it, idk brushes and blendmodes etc - especially the streaky sort of watercolor effect -- thank you -- sorry if this is redundant considering past asks and that one youtube tut you posted
Those pieces do use the same coloring approach from that video just with added line art on top!

Here to let you know I'm still OBSESSED with your tfo animatic and i have shown it to 2 ppl none of them big transformers fan but I needed to share awesomeness(they liked it too)
Weirdly enough my favorite part of the animatic is Optimus running to megatron as he's getting shot at. There's something so satisfying in how his torso stays in place as he runs and I don't know if this was on purpose or not but it reminds me a lot on how the bots in the movie move. So pretty neat!
The whole fight scene was beautifully choreographed too. Don't know if I said this in my last ask but I really really liked Orions transformation mid flight like yasss! transformers fighting like transforming robots!! The fight had a nice weight to it

If you're talking about the shot I think you're talk about, then funnily enough that is actually my least favorite shot in that fight scene??? Goes to show how perception can really change between person to person LMAO 💃🕺

I REEEEALLY loved the way you drew the last pages of castaways!! In content and in technique!!
So if you don't mind sharing one of them:
First page, last panel, with Springer being so done with everyone. He's illuminated a little by a blue-ish light. So I'm qurious how did you do this effect? Did you manually picked this colour or did you use a blending mode?
For all my pages, I colored it using a process that replicates printing!
It's a limited color palette using only four colors (channels) plus black. To get that illuminated effected, I erased parts of the color channels so the blue layer would peak through.
Each channel is set on "multiply" to achieve that translucent effect so that the colors can layer and mix on top of each other. When added together, it results in this:

Imagine immediately pressing a pause button just because of seeing this panel and knowing, this will kill me, the dynamic, the background, the, oh my god I so much love when people draw transformers environment in stuff to give an atmosphere and you just rocked it through the whole animatic ;;-;
THIS? THIS. THIS?!? Who did you sell your soul to for that angle and motion, I will provide you my soul so that you could spare your own. I started kicking my feet in excitement, the music choice is off the charts I was blown away how well you combined all the motions with the sounds

AGAIN. The background?? To set the motion>??? THE movements, the rotation, the camera, the shooting, the little particles flying off while he runs, the angle, the dynamic

Just woke up and my god was not expecting a FULL COMMENTARY and CIDJFJ THANK YOU FOR JUST YOUR THOUGHTS 🥹💓 You picked up on details that I KINDA FORGOT like the particle FX and angles. TBH the angle in that second shot and the first shot in the fight scene PURELY exist so I wouldn't need to track foot contact with the ground lol (if you look at the ground, it obscures their feet HAHA).
Being real for a second, one of the reasons this took soooo long to finish was because I worried that my choices in shots and poses were unrealistic yet uninspired. A "too much and not enough" situation. I couldn't even complete personal animatics for years because I didn't want to disappoint my mentors. I held myself to this impossible standard that everything needed to be portfolio quality and industry standard. But I needed to KEEP shutting that mindset out. Remind myself this was MY PROJECT FOR FUN with TRANSFORMERS YAOI.
So thank you so much <3. Thank you for sharing and letting me know that I at least did a good job 🥹🥹. Especially hearing this from an insanely skilled animator!!! 🫶🫶🫶
