Deatherella’s 4t2 Novvas Folha Kitchen

I’ve done six recolors of this great kitchen in @serindipitysims’s lovely Historian color palette and while working with the meshes, I’ve made a few tweaks and changes, and with Deatherella’s permission, I thought I would share them.

My recolors should work with the original meshes and mine will use the original recolors, but the new white textures I used on the meshes are not available as recolors.

I made changes to the TXMTs and TXTRs to make the pieces match a little better and soften the original handle shadows. I had a groundshadow problem with the Island1 picking up the finish TXTR, which I finally fixed by deleting the shadow and I did some repository changes to the Island Table and Counter Table as all table finishes are now repo to the Island Table. I made dirty states for all items that would have them.

I also made the meshes quarter-tile placeable and re-categorized them according to my system, which puts upper cabinets in Surfaces>Shelves and Counter/Island Tables in Surfaces>Counters. Some prices were changed.

Finally, I made a deco-only CounterCorner object which I use to put in corners under corner cabinets when decorating so the counters don’t separate when exiting the lot and deco-only islands that I use in shops when I need the look of an island, but not the functionality.

I always rename everything to match my system, so the file names are now different to show what I’ve done. I’ve put my recoloring stuff here too, just in case you might like it- I use PaintShopPro7 (an old faithful dinosaur program) but there are .psd templates, too.

4t2 Mooninbrites Walls

I liked these walls from Crystal Creations, but I wasn't a fan of the original molding, so I (re)converted them and added dark moldings and panels by Shasta. Comes in the original 14 colors, and categorized as wallpaper / paneling accordingly :)

I had recoloured this mesh by SkittlesSims before but I wanted to try again and do something a little different.

so when I got a request to recolour it I decided to jump in again :D .. not much of the original texture remains. :P base texture is now a frankenstein of multiple different TS4 textures and a lot of "hand painting" not perfect by any means, but I think pretty cute .. and seasonal! (for one hemisphere anyway)

Forgot to mention in 2.0:

Sims with the absent minded trait have a 50% chance of forgetting to turn on/off their vehicles headlights

New feature - Headlights. This feature can be toggled on/off through toggling the battery feature. (on by default)

Fixed the engine hoist (Tea)

Fixed Interaction "change tire" to work on ALL vehicles (Tea)

Fixed Fuel Simulations, ALL vehicles now work for simulations! (Me)

Fixed Fuel Simulation Animations. Animations now depend on whatever car you're using, so no more funky looking animations, it looks just like maxis! (Me)

Fixed redundant tire pie menu (Tea)

Fixed issue with invisible walking transitions trying to use maintenance features (Me)

So his experimental mod for TS2 RPC launcher basically tells the game to stop freaking out and turning stuff pink when shaders' memory usage goes over certain threshold. NOTE: it may get rid of the pink, but the game will still crash if you exceed 4GB limit.

There are two mod options to choose from:

Version 1 is more radical, it completely removes the safety check. You'll (probably) find out the shader's memory limit has been exceeded when your game crashes.

Version 2 is supposed to allow some pink soup at around 3.5 GB memory usage, near the danger zone, so you have time to act - so obviously, this one sounds more sensible.

4t2 Hair Conversions

Requested hair conversions part 1! So sorry that this took such a long time to share since I've made the wip post - I had to tweak a lot of stuff and learn again some stuff about converting that I've already forgotten ^^'... and I also started doing a clothing conversion and I hate bones assignments very much </3, especially when you figure out that maybe that's not bones assignments fault that something it's out of place, and maybe it's just the way you placed the mesh itself on the body but still you're like 65% sure that's the reason. 3t2 Red Hot Dress (requested by anon)

This one is from the Katy Perry sp (surprising, I know). AF only, has all morphs. There's some clipping with the legs, but I tried my best. I made 5 recolors, but here's the PSD for recoloring. I made these for C&K's Extended Material Shader, so it's recommended (the shine looks a bit different without it). Shoes are by Sentate :)

These are 4to2 conversions from AroundTheSims, low poly. This set contains: a tent, a counter, two tables, a plastic chair, functional stove and sink, decorative basin and gas bottle and a functional sardine can that works like a pet food bowl.

couldn't decide which preview I preferred so you get both (make a decision?? ._.) I made ten retexture/recolours of linacherie's conversion of max20's comfy sofa. :) it's a cute sofa! 6 Pokemon inspired, 3 Freezer Bunny using those simnetwork patterns again and one... East-Asian-ish?

Anon sent a request over to DeeDee-sims and I felt compelled to take on the task. And then upon downloading the blouse, I felt compelled to include the jeans.

These are entirely independent of vulrien-sims conversions. Unfortunately, I couldn't reshape effectively with their conversions 😣 Anywho... hope you enjoy!

Hi all! So I'm looking for a couple of things :)

First and foremost, I'm looking for 1-3 play testers for a toddler default set I completed. I'm notorious for TERRIBLE play testing and this will help me be able to move forward into other ages.

If you are down, please let me know and I'll send you the link. This default set includes brand new outfits + access to a spreadsheet so you know which is which and you can leave me notes on any fixes. I'm also open to changing outfits for the defaults (though I'd prefer not to convert more outfits, I can if it makes sense lol). I'm really looking for bugs or wonky joints.

Second, and this is a big ask, I'm asking for long term help with the @sims2tutorials page. I've been doing it by myself for a long while and it's very much not up-to-date and messy, predominantly with me going on a semi-hiatus for a while. If you're not able to assist long term, sending in tutorials is always helpful <3
