Iâve hit 1000 followers! As a gift, hereâs some stuff I whipped up for Hazel Hollowâs cafe!
@mdpthatsmeâs 4t2 barista uniforms used to default replacement the NPC barista uniform! I only have one barista in Hazel Hollow so I wasnât able to screenshot both the AF and AM uniform, but both of them use the green apron white shirt recolor.
A recolor of the sign on sam&skyeâs gender neutral restroom door to just show a toilet.
Functional Book Sculptures
You see those two sculptures on the end table by Daya in the preview pic (the one on top and the one kinda hidden underneath)? The ones that came with⊠Iâm not actually sure, AL maybe? Both of them are now functional bookcases! Comes in four versions based on if you want sims to be able to autonomously read from them (ala mrclopesâs mod) and if you have the mod below.
UPDATE 7/18/19: Fixed a problem with the functionalbooksculptures-studyallskills version that was preventing some of the skilling actions from showing up on one of the book sculptures.
Also, for clarity: For this mod, you want one and only one of the packages whose name starts with âfunctionalbooksculpturesâ. âautonomousâ means sims can autonomously read from the book sculptures ala mrclopesâs mod, studyallskills means all 7 skilling actions are unlocked (although they wonât all work if you donât also get a version of studyallskillsfrombooks).
UPDATE 7/30/19: Fixed a problem that could cause errors when sims try to write in diary with the book sculptures. This meant editing the OBJD, so I recategorized both sculptures as knowledge. Will add a custom star to the sculptures unless you stick it in the program files (I believe your M&G folder/Overrides should work). If you donât care about the custom star feel free to keep it in your regular downloads folder, just remember not to delete it ingame.
ETA: The update above also creates a conflict with other mods that recategorize the sculptures, specifically Phaenohâs. Deleting the two book sculpture OBJDs from Phaenohâs mod or having my mod load after is necessary to make sure that write in diary error doesnât happen.
Study All Skills From Books
Now all 7 skills can be studied from all bookcases, not just the education career reward - although youâll still need the education career reward to get that fast skilling rate. Thereâs also a version that is compatible with mrclopesâs read books autonomously if it loads after.
UPDATE 7/18/19: Now there are versions that make studying cleaning build science instead of nature, ala gummiluttâs mod. Removed âreadbooksautonomously-studyallskillsfrombooksâ because it was actually an older version of âstudyallskillsfrombooks-autonomousâ which had snuck in, confusing both me and likely some of you. If youâd downloaded it, I recommend replacing it with âstudyallskillsfrombooks-autonomousâ.

UPDATE 5/7/20: Disabled the âwatch out!â interaction on the secret door for sims who didnât have the proper anims for it: babies, toddlers, cats, and dogs.
Buyable Canvases and Prints
I wanted the cafe to have some art made by local artists, but having to buy the lot, visit it, place the painting/picture, leave, and resell it every time I want to place a new piece of artwork seemed inconvenient, so I made buyable versions of the easel canvas and uni camera prints! The easel canvas also has a subset for the frame with all the freetime recolors (and a null recolor). I gave them some initial recolors as a test of concept, but the idea is you can replace the images with your simsâ paintings and snapshots and make your own recolors for your game (FWIW, if you open a lot with a custom painting/snapshot on it you can extract the TXTR and use it to make a recolor). Available in Decorations/Wall for $500 (painting) and $100 (print).
