One of the most hilarious parts of SVSSS in hindsight is that there's a love triangle, but the protagonist is completely unaware of it. Liu Qingge is, for all intents and purposes, a love rival to Luo Binghe, so much so that in the extras where Shang Qinghua interviews them Luo Binghe says that he thinks Liu Qingge would try to seduce Shen Qingqiu AND that he wants to have sex in the Bai Zhan Peak's training grounds, definitely to spite its Peak Lord.
Shen Qingqiu has NO IDEA that he's backed into a love triangle, a love corner, if you will. It doesn't work cause Qingge's devotion pales in comparison to Shen Yuan's internalized homophobia (and he calls Qingge a fellow heterosexual man… can't read a room to save his life. Has lost his life over not being able to read a room, even)

Sometimes I look at Yue Qingyuan and pray that gods let him have one day where his friendly overtones don't lead to Shen Jiu qi deviating LIKE ommmmmgggggggg i see why they never go beyond useless pleasantries (apologies), Shen Jiu starts spitting blood left and right as soon as YQY pulls up,,,, AND it NEVER stops YQY either like.
