You don't see Bubble doing anything Caine does

In fact Bubble seems pretty stupid

So maybe Caine is just more advanced or has more power and therefore isn't "like" Bubble or the moon

For sure, he could be!

I just feel that avoiding him from the answer is very telling. Personally, if I was answering a question like that and he was in the same group of things but more powerful/more advanced/etc, my answer would be more along the lines of “kind of, but not quite.”

And I think Bubble and the moon being very different from Caine is even MORE support for him not being AI. He is very different from everyone else in the show. He seems to be the only character capable of creating things within the world (thus far) which makes me think that he is either A. The creator of the program (and maybe he is now consumed by it, or something to that effect) or B. Neither human nor AI. Maybe he is a program written specifically for it. Which I guess is just a different form of AI..? Who knows!

All of the little blurbs describing the show say that the show is about a woman getting trapped in a virtual world along with five other humans.

But then what’s Caine? We know he’s a human. Because when @gooseworx was asked if the Moon is an AI like Caine, they said an “AI like Bubble.”

So, if he’s not one of the five (plus Pomni) humans who are trapped here, but he IS a human - then perhaps he’s not trapped. 🤷‍♀️

Or maybe he’s not AI or human! Who knows!
